DO NOT BUY A GENESIS!
I bought a brand new 2020 G70, and to my surprise, it made this horrible clunking sound from what it seemed like coming from the front passenger side tire when making certain left turns. It sounded like "duh duh duh," and made the whole car vibrate, as well. Not only that, the driver seat window made a weird clicking sound when rolled up and down. I would describe it as if the glass was being bent when going up and down? I seriously thought I was sold a used, wrecked car with a new body slapped on to make it look brand new. When I called the car salesman who sold me the piece of junk, he assured me it was new and said he couldn't do anything about it, instructing me to take it to a service center.
I took it to 2 different service centers multiple times, and everyone kept telling me the car was fine, that it was supposed to make that sound because it's a rear wheel drive, and when it crosses a crosswalk, it's susceptible to making that kind of noise, "blah blah blah." They were coming up with all different kinds of explanations that made no sense whatsoever!
After 3 long months of driving the crappy-ass car, a guy from the high tech dept. at a third service center finally figured out was what wrong with the car. It was due to faulty engine mounts! How Hyundai managed to install bad engine mounts, sell it to a consumer, and insist nothing was wrong with the car for over 3 months is ludicrous! I'm sure driving it with bad engine mounts for 3 months didn't do the car any good.
When I bought this "luxury" sedan, I was expecting excellent quality and standards. Due to it having bad engine mounts from the get-go, I no longer trust the car and still think it's a used car that's been in an accident. Do yourself a huge favor and DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY on a Genesis! They're not trustworthy whatsoever!
