Worth The Wait!

I had been shopping for an EV for quite some time. So, when the original list of vehicles eligible for the government rebate was released, I was happy to see the Genesis on it. However, despite the next revision of that list not including the Genesis, I continued with my plans to purchase the vehicle for I was keenly attracted to the styling and value of the vehicle. Indeed, it was worth the wait to receive the car and I am very happy with it. I will say, however, that in addition to being an EV and me being new to the concept of electric vehicles, it is also a sophisticated piece of technology and it takes a bit of learning. Nevertheless, the learning curve is not steep and it seems that the vehicle learns as much about me as I do about it. I've only had the vehicle for a month and so far, so good. The build quality is great as is the styling. My former daily driver (a Jag) was a great looking vehicle. I will have to say, though, that after a month of ownership, I am getting more comments about the Genesis than I did for my Jag!

A very well engineered and manufactured car that's a pleasure to drive but will the dealer experience match the driving experience?

The car is luxurious inside and out. Driving is enjoyable and I may actually learn all its amazing features before my 3 year lease expires :). The nearest dealer is 45 miles away. And time will tell if they honor the valet service in a timely manner. Major complaint is the shift knob and the function selector knob are the same shape and operate in the same way and are located next to one another. If it wasn't for the software preventing me from shifting into park at 65 mph the transmission would have been strewn across the highway more than a few times.

Nice car.

Excellent look, ride and quiet cabin. Very quick and powerful. Range is less than most other electric vehicles. Easy to drive. Interior features well placed and within reach. Seats are firm. Driving assist works well and easy to use. Small technical issues with cruise control and connectivity.

I love, love, love this car!

This car is not only beautiful, but also very, very smart! This is my first experiences with an electric car, and I am so glad I made the switch. It is so quiet, needs minimal maintenance, and its responsiveness and "zero to sixty" speed was a big surprise to me! It has horse power to spare! There is not a safety feature it lacks. Heads-up instrumentation, lane assist, multiple warning systems, and 360 camera views make me feel so much more confident and competent as a driver. The technological prowess is mind blowing! It has all the usual features, but also ones you would never expect, like an option to add some "motor noise" to this electric car if you want it. You simply have to consider Genesis if you are considering a new car!
