The very best car i have ever had.

I absolutely love my GV 70 electric. It is fast, sleek and full of features that i love. I plan to keep it for as long as i am able to drive.

Very comfortable but not good enough mileage

I like 5he carburetor the mileage dropped to under 200 miles percharge in the cold weather.

Great car, Ok EV

I have owned this car for about a year. I bought it used with about 20k miles. Did not suffer the huge depreciation hit. For that price, it was a great deal. New I don't think it would be worth the close to 90k sticker. I like that it is super quick and fun to drive on SPORT mode. It has alot of features, as I have the prestige, great seats and amenities. Love all the safety features and the awesome infotainment screen. I was thinking of getting a G70 sedan, but this is much better for space and comfort. Would likely buy another in the future... probably slightly used.

Great design. Flawed implementation.

Too many issues. Left me stranded over and over again due to the charging module. Also software issues too many to count. Great car design and aesthetic but misses the mark overall for the luxury segment. Also, starting to develop rattles and squeaks which usually indicates built quality issues. Just yesterday the whole infotainment system went black. Came back after a few minutes but this is an ongoing issue for a long time. It doesn't help that the local dealership is perhaps the worst I've ever had. I've owned Porsche, a lot of BMWs and some Fords. All of them have their act together. But when I have a car in the shop for 2 weeks because someone can't figure out how to reset a TPMS sensor after a flat tire? And when I have to pressure the manager at the dealer to simply take it down the street to the local tire shop to do it because his staff can't handle it? That is NOT a premium experience. Sad part is I really like the car. But because of the various issues (most of them resolved at this point but that took 3.5 months at the dealer...) I just can't wrap my head around leasing another right now.

Happy so far!

We have enjoyed driving our electrified GV 70. It is a smooth and peppy ride - great for short road trips around the area. The range is mid for an electric car, but the driving experience makes up for it.

This car is a dream to drive. It is top shelf when it comes to build quality, performance, handling, comfort, safety, and styling. There are a few things that I dislike about it, which will likely prevent me from buying another one. I am not a fan of computer screens popping out of dashboards. I prefer analog and tactile controls and a screen as small as possible. The car’s range on a full charge, given ideal weather and road conditions, is barely tolerable. This car came with the standard audio system, which is so bad it's embarrassing. I had a Dodge Caravan from the mid-90s that had a better radio. So, the radio stays off. Lastly, the gear control looks nice but tends to slip through one's fingers. Making a quick switch from reverse to drive doesn't always come off as intended, requiring me to look at the shifter to see what gear I'm in, instead of the road.

The visual impact of this design both inside and out is very appealing. The smooth ride, quiet powerful acceleration is addictive. Loved my prior Tesla model Y, but the ride was always too firm and even harsh on some roads. This is such a dramatic step up in ride quality and the luxury design and materials of the interior are refreshing. Fit and finish are also a higher level. The range is modest, but suits my needs as a retired guy. Love not buying gas or getting oil changes. Charging in my warm garage is super convenient and costs about 65% less than gasoline. Despite 800 lbs heavier than my Tesla, the acceleration is actually faster. Having the "boost" feature at no extra cost is also a fun feature. The longer warranty is of course a winner too. Will definitely consider buying another Genesis EV in future.
