Have owned for about 12 years, no major problems.

I love my Ranger. I've had it for about 12 years. The only complaint I have is that the gas mileage is not so great - 4.0 liter - I get between 17 and 20 on the highway. Have taken many trips, never any problems.

Good reliable little truck

I've had the truck for 4 years and i8t's been bullet-proof so far. Not much else to say other than it's been reliable transportation for 4 years. Think I'll keep it another 4 years it's beren so good.

2005. LX. 2.3 liter 5 speed

I purchased my Ranger new in Willoughby Ohio and have over 273,000 miles on it. The best 14 Grand I ever spent in my life!!! I wish Ford was still making these for that kind of money instead of 40 Grand today ?‍?.

Great truck overall. It is very Good on gas And for its size is powerful enough to do most jobs that are big and small. I highly recommend this truck for the average homeowner or even for light duty commercial construction work

2005 Ford Ranger

At over 100,000 miles my 2005 Ford Ranger has proved comfortable and reliable. Other than a few minor maintenance issues, it has proved reliable and comfortable. I chose the extended cab as I am 6’ 4” and use the extra space to recline the seat. Perfectly comfortable for a tall person. No frills, it gets me from here to there reliably.

2005 Ford Ranger

It was purchased in ‘05. Engine and manual transmission still runs good. Issues are longer start ups when engine is warm, a/c produces less cold air on hot days, and suspension has “squeak” sounds as it bounces. New radiator installed 2019. New starter on 2017. New front sway bars 2015. A/C repair 2013.

Awesome truck

The best vehicle i have ever owned. Ford messed up when they quit making them and come out with a shrunken one. A truck is not a truck if all you can fit in the back is a large suit case. the old truck will return, not everyone needs a large truck.

Best truck ever

This is a no frills perfect small truck. 164,000 miles and no major issues ever. I have changed the oil every 3000 miles and transmission fluid every 30,000 miles. I have used it for work as well as personal use. Parts are readily available and reasonably priced at any auto parts store.

I love my 2005 Ford Ranger FX4 It just 100K miles I have it serviced regularly and it is serving me just fine. I have people ask me at any gas station if I might consider selling it because it still looks and runs great. I'm polite and tell them thank you but no. What's strange is the fact that more women want to know if I'll sell it.

Best truck I every owned. Great milage, depenable, fun to drive. Bed big enough to hold what I nerd. Used it to help move several times. Easy to get in and out of tight places. Could not ask for a better vehicle use it every day back and forth to work and never missed a day.

Greatest truck on earth.

Far most the best Ford product i have ever owned. I've owned three Areo Star vans before this truck and this one surpasses all of them. Ford should have just keep making them.Maybe when they bring the ranger back it will be better than the old,wishful thinking.

2005 Ford Ranger stx

my little truck is great the only draw backs are it is very light in the back and even with good tires loses traction in rain or turning a corner, I would rather have an automatic trans, mainly for ease of driving. I love the look of the wheels except they are beginning to peal and would be costly and inconvenient to repair. Plenty of power, milage avg.

Ford Ranger

I understand that ford will continue with build the ranger. Though it has been good for me, I will buy a different truck next time. I'm one those meticulous guys that wants things the way I want them. Had I known about the battery tray from the start, I probably wouldn't of purchased it.
