After the manager of my long time auto repair shop was promoted to district manager, I lost trust in
the people who took over. So I looked for someone local with good word of mouth. Needed to replace my window washer reservoir and was quoted a price slightly more than the quote from my old mechanic. Their shop is off the highway and took a moment to find. They did the work quickly and well. When paying, the owner was upfront that he misheard me when he gave me the original quote and thought I was seeking to replace the oil reservoir. He then gave me the actual price which was $100 less. I would have paid the original quote had he not said something. Honesty goes far with me. I also noted that his prices for state inspection and oil changes were less than his competitors. I have a new mechanic.
