Be cautious about the parts and workmanship used by Virginia Tire & Auto. I had a complete brake job performed on my 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee, including all rotors and pads. Less than 12,000 miles later, the brakes had to be redone under warranty due to rotor “hot spots” that caused significant pulsation. I also noted at the time that the brake pedal travel did not feel consistent with new brakes, raising concerns about the quality or specifications of the parts installed.
Approximately 25,000 miles after that warranty repair, the same issue occurred again. At that point, I returned to Jeep for genuine Mopar components. I submitted a detailed complaint through VTA’s contact form, including all service records. I received two calls and an email, which led me to believe the matter was being taken seriously and that a resolution was forthcoming. I requested a refund for the original brake job.
Last week, someone from VTA headquarters contacted me and stated he would review the case and follow up with me on Thursday. No follow‑up ever occurred, and I have received no further communication.
