Horrible experience
I went to the dealership early in the morning and told them I wanted to buy a car and pay cash. I told them we need the car in time to get insurance for it that day. It took less than two hours to pick out a car. They delayed processing the sale until I kept reminding them we needed to go. Finally the " financial person" came to us and said they would charge $1000.00 more if we paid cash. I said I wanted to finance it through a local savings credit union where I have accounts. They said they didn't do business with them but they would get me a good rate. They applied for credit in my name at 6 or more places. They said they only checked rates. Because they applied for credit in my name, I was denied credit when the applications were not completed. This caused my credit to be locked and I didn't know why it was locked. I found out that I was denied credit at these places when one of them contacted me. I researched and found other places. That cost me more in fees, lost services, denied purchases. I lost more than the $1000.00 they wanted to charge for a cash purchase not to mention the stress. I also found out they really do business with the local credit union and I am not the only person they said they would charge extra for cast.
