Daughters flat
I have had to come in to the dealership a couple of times and every time Mirena has been there to save the day. My daughter goes to university of Saint Augustine. We live 5 hours away. So it is hard to take care of car trouble when they come up. This time my daughter hit a pop hole and popped a tire. She was able to get her in for a new tire and fix the alignment. Plus some scheduled maintenance. She went above and beyond to make sure that my daughter would be safe to travel home. I can’t thank her enough.

Michael is a complete professional. I arrived at the dealership on 4/1/2023 to test drive a Santa Cruz. Michael was working with another customer but helped me select the car that I wanted to test drive. I drove three cars and was able to evaluate them through the test drive experience. Michael was patient and knowledgeable about the vehicles. I am still evaluating vehicles to purchase. based on my encounter with Michael, I would purchase a vehicle from Hyundai of St. Augustine.

Best car buying experience ever!
I wish every dealership treated their customers the way this dealership does. We worked with Leon to purchase our new Tucson and from start to finish, there was no pressure to buy, no up sell for stuff we didn’t need, he was extremely knowledgeable about the car we purchased and this was absolutely the best car buying experience we have ever had! If you want a Hyundai, go to this dealership. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

Thank you Mirena Napier for your help!
While visiting St Augustine on 2/26/2023 my 2017 Santa Fe Sport got a flat tire on the right rear.
I arrived at the dealership on Monday, 2/27/2023 at 10:30 am without an appointment.
Your Service Advisor Mirena Napier came out to help me and took in the request for a new tire.
She stated that she did not have one in stock and would have to order the tire.
She stated that it could be in on Monday 2/27/2023 or Tuesday morning 2/28/2023.
She stated she would contact me with an update.
True to her word, she called me and said the tire would be delivered on Tuesday and to call her at about 10 am.
I called her and she stated the tire is now in and to come in to have the tire mounted and balanced.
She was very helpful in getting the tire replaced using my tire warranty policy.
She provided me with quick and courteous service even though the service area was full of other customers vehicles.
Even though there was some delay, she made it a point to get the tire mounted, balance and even had the vehicle washed!
I want to thank Hyundai of St Augustine for employing such a qualified Service Advisor.

So pleased
While having our car serviced we talked with Ava , who sold us an other car , about some new vehicles and features . Ava is very knowledgeable about the different models and their features , we test drove two . We were very impressed with the 2024 Tucson . There's a lot to learn and Ava is a great teacher . The whole experience was good from start to finish ! Thank you Hyundai of St. Augustine !

It's like Tracking The Price Of The Peso?
As a previous customer and thinking of a new purchase I've been tracking the price of Hyundai's Autos. When your on line they quote ONE PRICE then when you go to their calculator they add in 2 or 3 other charges and the car that seemed affordable is now 3-4K more expensive...DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING?? Then the price of cars I tried to order FROM DAY TO DAY continuously CHANGE in Price...It's like tracking The PRICE OF THE PESO! O21

New Santa Fe hybrid melts down
9 months since purchase, car has electric meltdown in which all the idiot lights are lit. They need to order part, takes a week to get part in, but can’t install for three weeks.
This is not service, it’s non-service

Service rep could care less about my problem.
I have a 2014 Accent which I bought at this dealership. Up till now I've had all my service done by them and, except for being a bit pricey, I've been OK with them. So, I would say I've been a loyal customer. The car has a crankshaft sensor problem and has been stalling in traffic and other issues. So today I took the car there (after leaving 3 voicemails over 2 days with no response) and talked to a rep directly. Quoted me a price that was roughly double what the shop I wound up taking it to charged. And they wouldn't be able to get the part needed (which has to be Hyundai/Kia) for three days. Company policy he said. And on top of that, he seemed indifferent and annoyed that he even had to deal with me. I might mention that the shop I went to (Sargent's, just down the road) took me right in late afternoon and will likely have the car back tomorrow. So I'm done with these guys.

Oil change
I was greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff which were upfront about waiting for my oil change. I double checked my oil after leaving and it was at the correct level. They also gave my vehicle a quick vacuum which I appreciate. I turned down the car wash, however I really appreciate them asking in advance instead of washing it without telling me. Make an appointment and you should have a great experience. I’d love to make this my primary dealership for all of my service but it’s almost 2 hours away from me.

A whole mess of issues
My engine gave out on 16 due to a recall I was unaware of in late September. Got my car to the dealership, 7 months later the engine had finally been replaced only to find that there are now also a slew of other problems with the car. My car was fully serviced 2 months prior to the engine incident, and now my ABS is out and my battery is dead. Both of these were non existent issues prior to my car sitting on the lot at Hyundai for 7 months. Now I’m out another 3k in repairs for stuff that has happened either due to the engine issue or while in Hyundai’s care. They pretty much said I pay up for the repairs or have it towed elsewhere.

Oil Change problems
I suspected stripped oil drain plug from a previous oil change done at Hyundai of St. Augustine. When I returned to that dealership for my next oil change I requested to see the drain plug when it was removed. Justin, my service advisor, was extremely cooperative and brought me the drain plug and is was, as expected, stripped. Justin had the drain plug replaced with a new piece. When I returned for my next oil change I again asked Justin to show me the drain plug. Again Justin was very cooperative and did bring the drain plug to me for inspection, and it was OK. I will be returning for my next oil change to be sure that this problem is resolved. I am sure that Justin has no control over what happens in the service department, but he has done an excellent job making sure that I am being satisfied.
