With Igor gone, it's just another average mechanic place.
3 stars based on my last visit. Would have been 5 stars before the new ownership. I have been going there for years. Upset to see that Igor has left since the place was taken over by new owners. He was the reason I went there and trusted this place. I might still give it a chance but my last visit makes me think it has lost this specialness that the old place had with regard to service quality. Igor knew cars and I miss his honest expertise. There are not many mechanics around like him. Will try to find out where he went and will go there.
This last time, got my car back with AC blasting, engine running, seat inclination modified, why keep the engine running all this time as I pay, etc, and why mess with anything in the car interior. When I take my car to the mechanics, I really don't care about the waiting room and the extra fuss (they pushed detailing), I want a talented mechanic. The two mechanics I interacted with there seemed uninvolved, uncaring, and were quite unfriendly. The lady upfront was nice and professional. This place has to prove itself to me all over again. So far, not convinced that this will remain my go-to place. Unless Igor came back. They've become the usual hit or miss joint, unfortunately.
