Great customer service
I had a problem with my steering wheel making a popping sound. Upon my arrival the service department asked if I had extended warranty and I couldn't remember. They looked it up and yes I did. They looked out for my best interest and I appreciated it.

Terrible customer service
I own a 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 R-Spec (purchased brand new.) When I recently took my car in for routine maintenance, I informed the service center that I had two sections of clear coat peeling on my front bumper. I was informed that the paint is only under warranty for 36 months or 36,000 miles and while my vehicle only has 22,000 miles on it- I'm over the month portion of my warranty. I contacted Hyundai corporate and explained the issue- My car is kept inside my garage and there is absolutely no damage in the area of the peeling. I think it is absolutely insulting that Lakeland Hyundai and/or Hyundai corporate expects their customers to pay out of pocket for a defective paint job. This company has lost all of my future business over a few hundred dollars.

Unfortunately, after contacting Hyundai Corporate on your behalf, we were not able to convince the manufacturer to honor your request because of the warranty expiration. You feel like you matter.
Service was friendly and done to my satisfaction. Place is clean and one does not mind waiting a little bit longer. I will always go to my Hyundai dealership for service and pay a little more. It's worth it!

Tire Service
On Tuesday, I started my car to find the tire pressure light on. Not noticing anything wrong with the car, I continued on to my appointment. After the appointment, I called the Hyundai Service department and talked to Ryan. Ryan was very reassuring and said to come right in and they would take care of everything. I went right over, and they took my car in right away. We did note our back driver's tire was quite low. The staff and technicians worked quickly. I was told that we had a screw in the sidewall of our tire, and that it needs replaced. Being female, I asked about patching or used tire options- wanting to ensure that I wasn't being "sold up." We bought the new tire, as there seemed to be little other option. The staff and service were top notch, as always. My only wish or suggestion, especially for cases like ours, is to supply the technicians with something like a mini iPad to take pictures and show us customers what is wrong with our vehicles. While I understand the safety issues of customers in the service bays, I feel that with pictures, we customers can feel a little better and more knowledgeable about our repairs and outgoing monies.

Thank you for your rating and review. Thank you for the suggestion; actually, we just implemented last week a new service program that will be allowing us to do just as you described. Unfortunately the implementation process will take several months and we should be fully operational with service drive tablets by fall. This will indeed allow us to show every customer what is wrong - from worn wipers and brake pads to a screw in the sidewall of a tire.

We hope to have the new tool soon and part of our every day process. If we can do anything, don't hesitate to ask... we're here to help!

I called about 2 hours before I got my car serviced. They got me an appointment very quickly. It was my first service.
First service on the car and they washed the car and cleaned the car inside as well as outside. I was surprised with the service. They did the regular service that I did expect also of course. There is a nice area for people to sit and wait while they are servicing. Thanks to all the service people.
