It is frustrating to deal with any situation that is not directly related to any action you have personally taken and yet still be responsible. On rare occasions have we seen this issue and very few cases have been reported to Hyundai USA about this particular problem. We do know that Hyundai Engineers are working on more eco-friendly products that stand up to elements and other factors (rodents), but unfortunately this does not help your immediate concern. As part of our reporting process, we have notified Hyundai of this particular issue and have yet to hear back specifically about your needed repair.
