Price gouging
$89 for a basic oil change and $75 for a filter that can be purchased for $10 and installed in less than a minute should be considered a crime. You lost my business for life.

Absolutely poor service
Took my vehicle in for an oil change and also had them look at a rattling noise my engine was making. They told me I needed a coolant flush which was done last service and isn’t recommended in the owners manual until 120,000 miles, my vehicle has 80,000. They also told me I needed the transmission fluid changed which isn’t needed per the owners manual. They told me the noise in the engine was a loose bearing and due the service intervals Hyundai wouldn’t cover the work under warranty, not even giving me the option to have repairs done and pay out of pocket costs. It took 8 weeks to get an appointment to have my vehicle looked at/serviced and they rushed me out the door. The day after I got my car back the vehicle died. When I called the service department to let them know I was having my vehicle towed back to their shop they told me the lot was full and they weren’t accepting vehicles. I had to have it towed to a different shop who told me one of the cylinders was misfiring.

This is the worst shop I’ve ever been to and I will never take my vehicle back. I was going to trade it in for a Hyundai Tucson but will be purchasing a Subaru instead. I now understand why this service center has terrible reviews.

Apologies that you feel we give terrible service here. We strive to give exceptional service. The failure of your engine was due to the vehicle being 9k miles past due for its oil change and the lack of oil in the vehicle, as less than 1 quart came out. We had told you and documented that there is likely engine damages for these reasons. I will be reaching back out to you today.

my recall experience was great.The check -in was perfect and the waiting area was very clean and organized. When my car was finished, they came and got me and explained all aspects of the recall were completed with no problems.
I would recommend the dealership to anyone needing a new or used car and their maintenance program is wonderful.

Scheduled recall notice not completed due to part not available
If you (the dealership and Hyundai) are short on parts for a scheduled recall repair you need to tell the customer ahead of time so the work can be re-scheduled when the recall parts are on site.

Yet Another Good Vehicle Maintenance Experience at Haselwood Hyundai
This was my 120K scheduled maintenance for our Sonata sedan. It's a lengthy menu of tasks that need to be accomplished. Dealer rep greeted me right away. Service adviser then processed me in a timely manner. Dealer rep also provided me a realistic appraisal of when our sedan would be ready to be picked. Time estimate was spot on and all work was completed correctly the first time around. We've enjoyed quality service for our two Hyundai products at this dealer for nearly 11 years.

Rick Martinez greeted my wife and me at the service entrance, introduced himself, and listened to our requests for service and vehicle issues diagnosis. He worked hard, getting our car into the shop and communicating with the technicians and with us. He made sure our issues were all addressed to our satisfaction.

In for an oil change
The multipoint inspection uncovered a torn axle boot, which explains the clicking sound my wife has been hearing since we bought it used 2 years ago. And an oil leak ended up being the oil drain plug. Which you always hear about but hadn’t had it happen to me.
Rick helped us out a lot. Will be returning for service when parts come in.

Another Good Vehicle Maintenance Experience at Haselwood Hyundai
This visit was to have performed some milestone (120K miles) tasking for our Santa Fe SUV. This was spread out over several visits for reasons of personal finance. Dealership and service advisor received me in a welcoming, timely manner. Car rental activity was performed in a friendly, organized manner. Service advisor regularly kept me advised at work throughout the day as to the status of work on the Santa Fe SUV. Work completed same day. In-processing of rental car, return to dealership and receiving back the Santa Fe SUV went without any issue. Next up for 120K maintenance tasking will be our Sonata sedan this coming week - also at Haselwood Hyundai.
