Left Hand doesn't know what the Right Hand is doing.........
Brought the car in for a taillight replacement on the drivers side. Passenger side lights were working OK. When car was done - Mr. Reck told me that the light bulb assembly on the driver's side was completely melted & that someone put the wrong size bulb in there causing it to melt? Hello no one touches that car but the St. Charles Dealership! I mentioned that to him & he told me that "yeah I checked your file & didn't see where they had replaced any bulbs." He said that light assembly would need replacing - the part would need to be ordered & that would take a few days to get it & they would call me when it came in. Bob Reck also told me that the cost for the parts & labor for the assembly would be $200. Then he said they checked the passenger side of the car & that side was OK - but they replaced the bulbs on that side to be "safe,." The replacement of the"good/working" bulbs was a total of $29.70. So I left the dealership with out the working tail light & paid for new lights on the passenger side of the car! How stupid I must look to those boys! When i asked him what should I tell the police if I get stopped for no break light & the genius told me - just show him your paperwork that you're waiting for a part. That was on 8-11-17 and to this date - no one from the dealership has called me about the replacement part....I know that they have both my home & cell number - still no calls. I really enjoy the Sonata but this time of year everyone is looking to sell me a newer car & quite honestly - I'll probably start looking at them there's more to a car than just the car - Service - GOOD SERVICE is most important! Unfortunately good service there is difficult to get...

Arrived and was greeted quickly and professionally by Bob from the service area. He explained what was to be done to my vehicle during my visit. after approximately 50 minutes, work was completed and Bob took time to explain to me what was performed to my car.

Lack of above and beyond service, but overall satisfied
Average service was performed. I brought my car in for a recall and requested a rental in which was provided and I was in and out when checking the car in. It was also completed in a timely manner. The only thing I was disappointed in is the lack of above and beyond service. Most dealerships wash and vacuum after each service and I was unpleasantly surprised not to have had mine done upon return. I then had to wait 30 minutes for it to be completed.
