I was completely happy with the service I received while owning my first Hyundai. My second Hyundai had a problem from the manufacturer that took a long time to fix. There was a lack of communication from the service department while I was waiting for the problem to be fixed. Bob, in the service department, was very helpful at the end to finally get my issue resolved.

I went in because I got a phone call that there was a recall on my car (something with the computer system) so I made an appointment for that. After my appointment, my car started shaking after I accelerated. Not long after that, I saw white smoke coming out of the back of my car. Nothing was wrong with my car before I brought it in. I immediately turned around and went back to the service department. The man I talked to (brown hair with a beard and a larger silver earring) made me feel like I was crazy. He said the problems I was describing would have nothing to do with whatever was done to my car when I was there for my appointment. I told him this has never happened to me and I wanted to get it looked at. I had to ask for a rental car (it wasn't offered to me) so I could leave my car there indefinitely. While I was waiting for my rental, another employee opened my hood and looked at my oil. He told me I had a quart too much and that was why it was smoking. It has been over a month since I have gotten an oil change. If there was too much oil placed in my car, I presume it would have started smoking immediately after my oil change in November (at another establishment). The only explanation I can think of is someone at Hyundai put oil in my car by mistake yesterday. I would appreciate if someone would have owned up to their mistake instead of speaking to me like I didn't know what I was talking about. The oil was drained back to it's correct level and my car is no longer smoking, so the problem was resolved. However, I will not be returning to Hyundai after this experience.

I had an excellent experience! However, I heard about a serious general problem with the automobile and that had to do with the engine. I researched it and found an article written in CNBC that was really bad. I talked with people in the service department and they assured that they had not heard of anything that required a recall....
