Trip Preparation
I was preparing for a long road trip so knew I should get an oil change before departing. I let Brete know that I would be going on a road trip and asked that they look into anything they thought necessary. They looked at my brakes, tires, and fluids. They all looked good and I was ready to get on the road.

I have always received top-notch service at Murdock Hyundai of Lindon. I always try to schedule my appointments when service advisor Brete Arnold is there. Over the years Brete and I have built a very good working relationship so from the time that I drive in until Brete hands me my keys when the work is done she over sees all the work being done. Brete has gone far and above the call of duty taking care of some of the issues that I have had with my vehicles and I very much appreciate what Brete has done for me. The work they do is done in a timely manner and when the work is finished you get your vehicle back clean and ready to go. Keep up the good work Murdock Hyundai of Lindon Service Department.

Honest, Caring and Reliable team
I initially came in to the service center to get a used Hyundai inspected before purchasing it from a 3rd party dealer. Brete is the one who took me in and got a little back story as to what I was doing and why and what my situation was. I honestly think she could read me and I think she just knew I was overwhelmed. I just moved to Utah and am going through some life changing events that are incredibly stressful and buying a car is one of them. After inspecting this car, Brete advised that there was about $3,000 worth of problems that should be fixed. She asked me if i was open to maybe talking to the sales team there just to see where I am at and I accepted the invitation fully expecting to come out with nothing. She introduced me to Noah, who showed me some serious empathy and compassion for my situation and made a legitimate effort into turning my whole day and experience around. He even went out of his was and drove that used car I brought in back to the 3rd party dealer so I wouldn’t have to face them again (as they already tried scamming me). Noah gave me options, and the moment I heard I was approved I was so overwhelmed I cried. And Noah was just so wonderful through the whole experience I didn’t even realize I was dealing with a car salesman! He was a true and kind human being. Mason was also amazing and took the time to explain how things work and how certain things benefit me or how some things are okay to put off for now, I felt like I was just talking things through with my brother! These 3 team members at Murdock Hyundai deserve the highest recognition and are fantastic assets to not only this company, but in this world. There needs to be more people like Brete, Noah and Mason. I can see why this dealership is highly rated in the West, they take care of people and are upfront and honest in their dealings with individuals. Most of my family are Hyundai drivers, and now I am too and I am so excited to say that Hyundai and the Murdock Hyundai Dealership has me as a customer for life, and my family has committed to that as well after seeing what I went through and seeing how well I was treated by those 3 individuals at this dealership. Thank you so much Brete, Noah and Mason!!

Service needs work, long negotiation buying the car
When I first went to buy the car I showed the salesman an ad I found on KSL for $14,500. After some small talk he went to talk to the floor manager (remote sales strategy is very patronising and annoying) and came back with a price over $20,000. Long story short, it took a full month of emails to get to the original price and to get my trade in up from $4,300 to $9,000.

The service department isn't helpful at all unless you look rich or you're sitting in the car that needs to be dropped off. I showed up in my weekend work clothing to pick up my car and it took nearly half an hour to get someone to say hello and help me. I watched as a dozen customers were approached helped and phone calls were answered in the service drive for a while, then went to the cashier's desk where a phone call was finished and two more were answered before I was addressed. Dealer networks really are a backwards, old-fashioned way of doing business. I will be visiting a new location for any warranty service the car needs in the future.

Amazing Warranty. Great Customer Service.
Murdock in Lindon had incredible customer service and went out of their way to help me. Additionally, the warranty for my Hyundai is the best out there. Which gives me a piece of mind. They also make getting oil changes or any type of service for your vehicle so easy and hassle free.
