All around fantastic!
This particular plug in hybrid meets all my expectations. The range from a home charge at 110 is usually enough to carry out daily errands/pick up of grandchildren/volunteer trips.
The switch to the hybrid engine is seamless when the EV miles have been used. The engine itself is very quiet and very powerful on hill climbs & acceleration due to the battery arrangement. This SUV handles very much like my Subaru.. lower center of gravity and less sway than most SUV's. It corners very well and the steering is so smooth and takes little effort to turn the wheel.
The ride is very smooth; handles various road bumps, dips and rough surface with less road noise than I was experiencing in my Subaru outback. It's a more "car like" ride.
The technology and screen in this vehicle is the goldilocks of car tech, in my opinion.
There are still real controls for important cabin comfort/sound to avoid having to use the screen for everything ( like a tesla).. so I am less distracted driving.
It has all the latest safety features/cameras: I especially like the adaptive cruise control and headlights that adjust automatically. I believe it is the best choice for folks who are not ready for a full EV. I am so pleased I waited for this type of vehicle!
