Reliable and Fuel Efficient
I average 46mpg spring, summer and fall. Winter driving you will see 40-42mpg as the car is trying to keep you warm. Have had very few repairs required on the Prius V. The water pump at 205,000 miles was the first mechanical failure. I change the oil every 10,000 miles, change the transmission oil every 60,000 miles and have done 2 radiator flushes. I have gone through 4 sets of tires. The only real complaint I have is with the windshield wipers in snow storms. They ice up and have to be manually cleaned. With Japan having snow I thought they would have addressed this long ago.
