Overall good choice for California road/freeway
I use this car everyday to commute to work, it is a reliable car. The only issue I observed after 5 years is the corrosion on cathode of the car battery.

Not a fancy car but very dependable
Corollas are great for someone who want a long lasting, dependable car with low maintenance. There are cheaper cars that are similar out there but I still believe when it comes to reliability that it is the best. This is a car for a practical person.

On my third transmission
Needed a new tranny and went the way dealership because it was covered and I received a "new" one which it was really refurbished and I was back a third time in less then 3 months for one. I just bought a Ford explorer and am staying American.
