Amazed at all the features and solid, quiet ride. Great price too!

I expected a lower and vehicle considering the price and my unfamiliarity with the manufacturer I was wrong. Excellent vehicle well appointed not cheesy at all and for four-cylinder engine. It has enough power to take me where I want to go effortlessly. This is my first Hyundai. It won’t be my last.

So far it is a great car. However, there are at least two things I very much dislike. First, it does not have heated exterior mirrors. Secondly, the wipers cannot be raised for preparation of an ice or snow storm. Engineering flaw. I'm sure I will find more.

Overall vehicle dependability as this is the first Hyundai I ever had

I don’t put a lot of miles on my cars as most of my traveling is locally. So it gets me where I need to be somewhere and back home without any issues. That I am thankful for.

Very good car but not great

Couple of things. I went on a road trip to Lake Havasu with 5 passengers in the vehicle. While traveling there were some bumps and dips on the freeway that I drove thru and noticed the suspension bottomed out and was very jarring. I almost last control of the vehicle. The shocks and suspension need to be beefed up. Second, we had our pet in the car and went into In n out with the car running. A/C was on. We had our eyes on the vehicle while inside the restaurant. After we finished, we came out and noticed the engine went off and the a/c was warm. Not good. Dog would have been dead if we were in for hours and not minutes.

A Reliable car is what is important to me. So far, it is.

I'm still trying to understand how to set the channels that I prefer on Sirius....and there are so many things to learn - but I don't like to take the time to pull out the info packs - wish they were not so complicated. For a 79 year old with no grandchildren - it is a challenge.

We especially like all the safety features. We wish it had a couple more bells and whistles, but it is a good small SUV. It would be nice if it had a larger engine. The 4 cylinder is fine, but more power would be nice. It is not a hybrid as one wasn’t available at our time of purchase.

Nice for most everything . Don't like that the drive defaults to snow. Also, automatic shutoff is abrupt.

Great Car. Great Value

Great choice in small SUVs. Great tech and safety features. Large touchscreen. Good interface with Apple CarPlay and assume good with Android auto too. Good non-hybrid gas mileage. Roomy, comfortable and a great value.

My 5th Hyundai

I have owned 4 previous Hyundai's, 3 Elantras and a Kona. Each Elantra was a step up from the previous Elantra. The Knon was a middle of the road Kono. This Tucson has a lot of gadgets I barely use. Everything is electronic including the gas cap. If your key fob dies, you are helpless. Sometime you can have your key fob out and the doors unlock. But sometimes they don't. Same thing with the trunk hatch. The tire pressure on the console is a joke. Normally as you drive down a highway the tire pressure goes up. According to the console, they go up and down! The only turn signal on the back, is near the bumper. There show be one somewhere near the taillight package. To me this is a hazzard. The transmission is another joke. It appears the air conditioning is tied into it. The RPMs will go to zero when you are stopped. Then jump to 8 when the A/C kicks in again. The car will learch forward, even with your foot on the break. The Elantras and the Kono when you take your foot of the gas, the cars slows down. Not the Tuscon. You have to touch the break for it to slow down. The Tucson is nothing like the Elantra and Kono models. This Tucson is leased through Hyundai Motor Financed. Dealing with them is a total joke. Nobody gives a crap! I have no idea how many time I have called them, after you demand to talk with a manager or a higher up, only 1 person apologized for the difficulty I was having! Even if I ever buy another Hyundai, I will never use Hyundai Motor Finance. I will go through a bank. But I have to admit I am very doubtful that I would buy another Hyundai based on the Tucson. I would love to get out of my lease!

Poor engineering design

After 1000 miles, the instrument panel and heads up display started blinking in and out. Hyundai said they didn't know what the problem was and it took six weeks to get it sorted out.
