It's ok

I love the updated screen. All the warning chimes and vibrations are SUPER annoying and, in my opinion, dangerous. I do not need bells going off whenever my car perceives a "threat." Every time this happens, it startles me, which can be very dangerous. I also do not like the car braking if it thinks there is danger. Twice, this car has slammed on the brakes for no reason, causing both me and my son minor whiplash. I realize a lot of this may be turned off, but it should be standard to be off and an option to turn it on. Also, the new feature to shut down the engine at every stop is incredibly dangerous and annoying. This is also a feature you can elect to turn off, but you have to do it EVERY time. Why?! Anyone who has ever driven a not-so-great car can tell you that having your car shut down at stops is nerve-wracking and aggravating. This cannot possibly save that much fuel - and even if it does - it should be a feature you can turn on if you want it.

I miss my 2017 Santa Fe ultimate. Buyers regret

Tucson has great safety features and smooth ride. The motor shut down feature is not a safety feature. It shuts down when breaking and lunges forward when it starts up again. Difficult to use when backing into and moving out of my garage. Working with a small space and when I need to move a little more it lunges. If I could trade it in, I would. If you are accustomed to a turbo and a vehicle that does not shut down when driving and stopping, really reconsider if you want to purchase this car. I've had it for 4 months and it's a challenge every time I drive it.

Unreliable

Purchased a new Tucson in Feb. 2025. On April 17 took vehicle to the dealership because of a pop up on the screen that said “ Check user authentication system”. The pop up would not disappear. Spent over 2 hours at dealership, during which they reset body domain module and said message disappeared. Before getting into the Tucson , the message appeared again. I told them while researching the message other owners said to disconnect the battery and reconnect it again. Message disappeared, but less than 2 wks. later message appeared again. There should be a recall of this problem!!! I now have to take the Tucson back to the dealer and be without a vehicle until they find a solution. Don’t know if that will solve the problem!

I think it sux when the navigation system DOES NOT display icons of hotels, gas stations etc. When I complained about this at the dealership, they just laughed and said," oh the kids don't use that... they use their smartphones". Well, I'm 77 and NOT a kid!!! And want what should be standard on ANY navigation system in a vehicle today.

Smooth ride - great gas mileage!

We love our 2025 Tucson. I have owned many 'luxury' cars in my long life but this is the smoothest riding car I have ever owned - even better than my Lincoln Continental Signature Series! I admit to having trouble with learning how to navigate Apple Car Play and other things but by having a young person sit with me in the vehicle I have finally mastered them. Great car.

Great car

So far I’m very pleased with my Tucson. I did have my sunroof explode on me after three months. Hyundai wasn’t interested in helping me replacing it, so I had to use my insurance.

Sweet Ride

Both my husband and I love our new Tucson, but I rarely have the opportunity to drive it, because my husband has claimed it as his own. I watch it go into the distance, and wish I could sneak a drive at some point in the week, but I am not fast enough to intercept him. He absolutely loves it. The Tucson comes before all else, and is his golfing chariot.

The vehicle manual

I love my Tucson. The only thing I would like is a manual you don’t have to spend a week reading. I’m sure there are many perks I can enjoy but I don’t know I have them.

My car

This is my 3rd Hyundai. Some features change from previous years but not for the best. Light to indicate AC/heated seats are on is so dim, impossible to see in bright light or with sunglasses on
