Happy Overall. Minor changes would make it even better

Very happy overall. Would like a couple of things to be different. Side mirrors do not have an auto-fold capability. Drive mode preference is not preserved with driver settings (defaults to eco on start).

Well done car. Software needs some simplifying.

Since this replaced a very old Honda CRV this was a breath of fresh air. I really like the Birds Eye camera. It took awhile to figure out how to make the Tucson identify which driver was using it. Also who wants to lock the car in the home garage? Should be a way of the car know where home base is.

Upgrade I Deserved

After 12 years in my former cross-over (of another brand/make), the move to a new Hybrid Tucson was a gift to myself but also a big leap in technology. 4 months later, I am still learning features and adjusting to differences like push button parking break, steering paddle for drive/reverse/park, all of the camera and assist features. I do love the sleek look, feel and drive. I took a test drive of several other vehicles and the Tucson won in look, feel, features, size, drive, and cost! (It did have a recall already I had to go in for; but that seems the norm with all the tech now)

Great Fuel Economy, but Lacks Power

Overall, I like the technology, modern design, and great fuel economy—a tank of gas lasts much longer than I expected. However, I feel that the seats are smaller than my family and I expected, which affects comfort on longer drives. I also wish the vehicle had a little more power, especially when accelerating. Overall, though, it has been a very positive experience.

Repeat Hyundai Owner

We have owned 3 hyundais over the recent years. We have never encountered any repair problems with them. All have been hybrids. They are very dependable, get good gas mileage and perform as well as if not better than the higher priced SUVs that you are paying for the name. When ready we will buy again.

Cup holders

The only complaint so far are the back seat and door cup holders. Way too small.

Why I brought it back

I found it to be uncomfortable for longer distances, poor mileage on the highway or in town, poor visibility even with all the bells and beeps, and extremely annoying warnings to ‘take a break’ which no one seeed to be able to fux.

Have only driven it in San antonio , will leave for a trip to New Mexico end of the month. Am well pleased with the vehicle. Many of the features are not well explained online and are deeply hidden

All is great EXCEPT fixing a recall issue

The ride, comfort, roominess, and overall quality is superior. The singular issue is the failure to address the second recall issue, the problem with the dash instrumentation going out in conjuction with the windshield display. I have taken it in once, and it was apparently fixed, but the following day, the same issue arose. I am scheduled for a second visit tomorrow to have this serious issue fixed. (The problem manifests itself with the instrument display going black with a red message reading "NO SIGNAL". Before that, the windshield display goes out and the instrument panel lights up with every warning light.)

Seats aren't comfortable, can't get rid of the "take a break, icon and alarm. Stiff ride, not smooth. Great gas mileage, lots of room.

My Tucson

Well satisfied with my Tucson since Aprfil purchase. One tiny problem: I have Tucson's own upgraded rubber floor mats and the front floor ones have a design problem, in that they are extremely difficult to remove from the small anchor pins and impossible to re-anchor.

Very Bad customer service

They are not able to fix my issue and saying its a bug but software updates not available. Worst customer care I have ever seen in my life

A great car but it definitely has some issues

Overall I'm really happy with the car. It does drive great but there are some issues I should have rethought a bit before buying the car. The cupholders are so small they are a joke. In the day where everyone drinks from a sports bottle none of them fit. I would have MUCH preferred to not have have a wireless phone charger and bigger cup holders. Second, the infotainment system is very inconsistent in how it boots up with the car and syncs (or not syncs) with android auto. It also crashes and restarts to a degree of frequency also. Lastly, locking and unlocking the car is very inconsistent as well. Sometimes you can lock the car from the door handle, other times you can't and you have to reach for the remote to lock the car. VERY inconsistent and annoying.
