I like the car and the safety features. There are a few things that drive me crazy. The down hill speed setting may go on, but. no light appears, and it does ‘t stay on. I’d like it to be set once and done. The headlights turn off when the turn signal is activated and come back on after the turn. There’s not enough information for using the display intuitively. There many functions I don’t use because of this. Not everyone wants a sun roof. or the greatest mpg. Yes I have read the manuals.

Mostly Good

Overall, my 2025 Hyundai Tucson is comfortable, smooth-riding, and quiet. However, the on-the-steering column shift is awkward to use. I much prefer the transmission shift to be in the console. The controls on the dashboard strip are very small and hard to read - especially when there is sunlight shining on it. There has been a rattle almost since I bought it new and just now have located the cause. The front passenger power seat back rattles when I drive over a bump - even a minor one. I will take it in and see what happens.

Some features too sensitive

Overall a very nice vehicle some of the safety features are too Sebastian’s cannot be turned off. My husband has eye issues and when he drives it constantly gets the “consider taking a break” message . Very frustrating. Sometimes he get a message stating the vehicle is going to stop this is very dangerous on the highway.

2025 tucson hybrid

I like the car. I must like HYUNDAI this is my third vehicle I've purchased new. This model does have more safety features than the other two so that is a good upgrade for me. But it is ordinary looking , nothing spectacular, but come on .... I'm a 72 year old woman who doesn't drive that much its not about the sleekness or speed anyways.

Great Vehicle

I really like my 2025 Hyundai Tucson. The size is perfect for an elderly lady like me. As it is a hybrid, I get great gas mileage. I am taking my time learning all the computer apps but have learned enough to be quite comfortable driving it. The ride is comfortable and relatively quiet. I just got a recall but can't get an appointment yet as the dealer is awaiting rep;acement parts.

It's a computer not a car

The car is fine (though the gas mileage is lower than expected) but it's electrical/computer system is problematic. The car often decides on a whim to change the settings on the seats and the radio, which is frustrating enough. Getting to the radio default settings is ever more frustrating. The car has also had two recalls in less than two years. Finally, the midnight blue color looks black more than dark blue.

Terrifically Satisfied Tucson Hybrid Limited Owner

An absolutely well made SUV. I appreciate the confident driving pleasure and fuel economy my Tuscan Hybrid gives. Also, the many amenities and safety technology wrapped up in a great price (I guess you can have your cake and eat it to). Keep up the great work Hyundai!

Showed to have issues

After the first few months the car began to show some issues. These are technological issues, the front bumper sensors were extremely sensitive. I complained about this for months. Went through a lot of back and forth with corporate to resolve the issue and all they said was that it was operating as intended. Then months later there was a recall for this problem and a software update. To say the least, the problem still exists.

Not so happy after two recalls in two months.

I was very happy for the first year but after two recalls in the last two months I have lost trust. My dealer was also not good to work with in the service department.

Favorite car I've ever owned

I used to own a Hyundai Santa Fe and was very disappointed when they changed the style and size of it in 2025. I wanted to downsize anyway, so I looked at the Tucson. When I test drove the gas model, I didn't like it at all. The engine wasn't powerful enough. So I tried the hybrid, and it has a lot more power. I LOVE this car and will continue to buy it whenever I need a new car, as long as they don't change it too much. I am very tall, as is my son, and we both fit in it easily. Lots of headroom even with the panoramic sunroof. Lots of leg room. The seats are very comfortable (I have a very bad back and don't need additional support). The only complaint I have about the car is minor: on very hot days, it seems to struggle with cooling down the cabin. My Santa Fe did not. Luckily I live in Chicago so it's not that big of a deal. I might have a big problem in FL. It heats up just fine.

Systems override logic and ease. Locking, phone app takes lead without key, won’t go thru car wash, sensor failures…
