Problem

I had a bad battery with less than 60 miles and now my boost gauge to my turbo is not working with 1400 miles only, this is the first time I've seen such problems with any vehicle within the first few months of purchase. Cheap product and I regret buying this car. Hyundai today is not what it use to be

SONATA 2025

Glad this model now has all wheel drive. Wasn't happy with the 2023 model I just traded in that had buttons on the console in order to shift gears. In two years I never got used to it. Now the 2025 has a mechanism on the steering column, which I haven't used for years and need to get used to that. Who is making these decisions??? I literally have to move the steering wheel to see through it and view the "mechanism" to place the car in the correct gear. Hate it. As with the 2023, the 2025 engine races as soon as you press down on the gas peddle. On the 2025, I haven't been able to figure out the Navigation system. This will be my last Hyundai.

Could be great

There are two things I dislike about my vehicle. The turbo gauge doesn't work and there's no fix for it. The transmission has already started bogging down. I understand that its a dual clutch transmission so it works like a standard but it doesn't shift when it should, causing delays in take off which can be very dangerous.

Good value, good looking, a few negatives

Attractive styling, quick enough for most, a number of neat features. It's pretty quiet and comfortable over the road, and gets great gas mileage for a car that weighs over 4600 lbs. The stock tires are terrible and really hurt performance - all-season tires with a 560AA treadwear rating have no business being on a performance vehicle and lack adequate grip. It would be nice if the boost pressure gauge worked, which it hasn't since new; there are other Sonata N Line owners who have the same problem and Hyundai has not resolved it. Good thing it's not an essential instrument.

Great car that presumes a little too much

This is the third Hyundai Sonata that I have owned. Very comfortable car, most of the amenities that I wanted were included in the SE package. I discovered after buying it that it does not have a pull-down drinks tray in the back seat, as the other two Sonatas did. The main irritant is that there are several built-in features that I cannot turn off permanently. The default setting is for the car to "turn off" when I'm idling at traffic lights, and I have to push the button not to do that each time I restart the car. The other item is that the car presumes to steer for you if it doesn't like where you are in the lane. For instance, if I have to go over the yellow line to go around a car parked on the side of the street, the vehicle attempts to steer itself back to the lane. Hyundai may call this a "safety feature", but I find it to be annoying and potentially dangerous.
