Car sucks! I call it the Flintstone car because it feels like you are sitting on a rock in the drivers seat! Cruise control is a nightmare so the car is unusable for me! Overall I love the car. Love the design and the features. One issue that has been annoying has been the sporadic performance of the front sensor. And the resultant check driver assistance notifications

Steering wheel issues

I was delivered my car with a defect on the steering wheel and the dealer ship refused to fix it. I feel this is totally unfair and a it should be fixed. Not sure if this was delivered to the dealership like this or it happened at the dealership.

Luxury without the price tag

There are so many great features in this car that I didn’t expect with Hyundai. I’ve always been loyal to Honda and Toyota. There slare some things I would improve or wish it had that my RAV4 had (ability to touch lock from any door, rear view camera mounted inside the car vs outside, heated windshield).

Rattling on passenger side for 4 months

Rattling to the passenger side. Took it to the dealer and they were rude, did not look at it told my husband and I 6 hours later to bring it back on a better day for them. My appointment was so and they knew in advance of the problem

Really like this vehicle checks a lot of boxes

So far I am loving this vehicle it has lots of room and is very comfortable .I also like the gas mileage currently averaging 36 to 41 mpg , it has sufficient power for getting on the freeway and passing it is not a sports car .The interior is nicely detailed and there are a lot of nice features I bought the sel which is the base model. The ride is smooth and it feels capable on the road . All the safety features are nice and I really like the console it opens up so much space and the arm rest storage compartment is huge . the trade off for the console is the shifter on the column which I don't mind at all.

Love almost everything!

I love almost everything about my new Santa Fe hybrid. It's got so many features it's so roomy and comfortable. The only thing I wish was better is the poor infotainment system especially how it works with Sirius XM Radio, especially if you need to use a map at the same time. I wish the graphics and layout were better so that I could easily pick which serious Channel I want to listen to and see the name of the song that's currently playing on each channel. There's just a lot of empty unused space that could be used more efficiently. Hopefully there will be an update at some point that makes the infotainment more user-friendly. Other than that I do wish the car had a little bit more power but understandable for an SUV that's a hybrid. Overall I love it but wish that it was perfect.

Nice smooth ride all the time. Not at all happy with music breaking up

I would surely encourage any family or friends to purchase this particular model of a Hyundai. After coming out of an escalade for years, this is the closest I could get to the ride or better than if I had bought another Cadillac.

Santa Fe hybrid

Bought vehicle brand new bc of hybrid feature. There are some defects like steering wheel cover peeling, and center console tear. Rear wheel quarter panels also loose. Water retains inside doors for days.

Excellent hybrid for family use

This vehicle checked off pretty much all my new vehicle must haves, but there are always room for improvement. The vehicle’s drive on the road feel could be improved as it doesn’t feel well connected to the road. The second row seating needs its own cooling/heating controls similar to KIA Carnival. It is wonderful to be able to provide this feedback of this vehicle. My experience submitting suggestions/improvements via tickets in the BlueLink app has been very disappointing to say the least. In fact, I have stopped making suggestions because of the lack of feedback. Hyundai’s Complimentary Maintenace Program is described as being a 3-year program is very misleading. A high percentage of drivers will fall into the severe usage situation (and personally I would never go 8k miles between oil changes with a hybrid engine). If the program has 4 oil changes, just describe it that way. Stop trying to spin into something it really isn’t. That eliminates any confusion with your customers and eliminates the feel of a bait and switch ad campaign.

Good car

It is very good car. It is value for money only with hybrid model. Gas only model fuel economy is not good but not too bad. Hyundai service center needs improvement, most of the time service center showing disability to fix problems and to hide there disability they are over price the service or parts repo to compile customer to refuse.

Love the Santa Fe

The Santa Fe gave us the extra room we need to go on trips and I did not have to list to kids complain. Love the feature setup and it gets good mileage. Seats was comfortable, and price was in our budget.

10-Year 100,000-mile Warranty, America's Best? Yeah Right! Cause it needs it, too bad they don't honor it!

This nightmare started when we got a 2024 Santa Fe Calligraphy AWD. I was out of the country for work and had a Santa Fe for a couple of weeks as a rental. I liked the way it looked, and I enjoyed driving it. I took pictures of it and sent them to my wife, and she liked it so much that we went to check it out and test-drive it when I came home. We decided to trade in my wife's 2023 Ford Expedition King Ranch Max with 8k miles on it since she did not drive it much because it is a big SUV, and since the Santa Fe is much smaller she liked it. Again, she doesn't drive it much because she has a 2019 F150 as her daily. One day she wanted to take the Santa Fe to work but the "Transmission System error, Check transmission oil immediately!" warning came on the dash, the car only had 1230 miles on it, took it to the dealership and after they checked it they said they could not find anything nor duplicate the error and to take it back and come back if it happens again. Two weeks later when my wife wanted to take it to work the warning came back on again, this time I took it to a closer dealership since I didn't want to drive it with the warning light on, since it shifted very late and hard. The second dealership checked it and told me that there was little to no oil in the transmission, and told me there might be a leak. Again it only had 1230 miles. I told them there was no oil leak since there was nothing in our garage floor, and then they said that if that's the case it might have been shipped without oil from the factory.... Are you kidding me? So after they filled it with oil, I took it back and called the original dealership to ask them how they couldn't see that there was no oil and if they even bothered checking it, they got their service manager involved and they told me that the code it had was for a faulty transmission module and that pretty much it needs a new transmission, I called Hyundai and at first, they asked me if I want them to buy it back or do I want a replacement. Since it was my wife's car I wanted to ask her first, and after she said she didn't feel comfortable driving it I called back Hyundai, but this time they said they couldn't do anything. I asked them since it already had a code saying it had a bad module would they at least replace the transmission, Hyundai said that since the code was cleared they wouldn't do it until the code came back. Well, I am in talks with a Lemon Law attorney now to get this issue solved since they wouldn't honor their so-called 10-year 100,000-mile warranty at 1230 miles. I should have never bought a Hyundai and I can't believe I was about to buy an Elantra N..... I will never recommend a Hyundai to anyone and will always share my BS experience with Hyundai. It's sad because I am Korean American and I was proud of how much progress Hyundai made, but I guess it was only skin deep.

I Love My Sante Fe

I have a 2025 but became obsessed when the 2024 version came out. I love the boxy look. I test drove one last year and immediately fell in love. The long screen, all the room, compartments, plus it’s a great choice for any soccer mom who doesn’t want to drive a mini van. I love my new suv.

Great All-around Vehicle

I love the redesign, and it's packed with one of the best tech/amenity packages I've ever seen at this price point. Very fun and comfortable inside. The only downgrade for me was the cargo space from my previous Toyota Highlander. The Santa Fe is 6 inches shorter in the body, and you lose that rear space, but passenger compartment is plenty comfortable. Engine performance would be my only criticism. I would like more zip and go in the lower gears, but otherwise it drives well and responds fine. The interior is well thought out with lots of storage. The movement of the gear shift to the steering column, has greatly helped the interior ergonomics of the car, and the placement of things like a dual cellphone charging station.

Honeymoon Period is Over

I was so excited for this vehicle. Unfortunately, after having it for less than two months, I find it a bit disappointing. We are leasing and will not be purchasing at the end of the three years. Should Hyundai revamp the Santa Fe to feel more like a 7 passenger, as well as modify the placement of the gear shifter, expand knee space between driver and steering wheel, increase truck storage space and reduce sensors we might reconsider.
