The best SUV

I've never seen an SUV like the Santa Fe, it's all-terrain, very strong and versatile, you can use it to go anywhere. So far after two years it remains the same as the first day.. Very good technical service and 100% roadside assistance

Service at dealer is poor; updating nav sytstem is impossible

Dealer service is terrible. Service appointments are useless. An appt for an oil change resulted in the dealer telling me it would take 2-3 hours to DO AN OIL CHANGE! Why bother with appointments? Updating the Nav System is virtually impossible unless you are an IT wizard. Conflicting info between owner manuals(s) and procedure.

Considered the vehicle a lemon. Transmission cracked and brake vacuum pump went out. All within seven thousand miles. Dealership response was terrible. The service department required more personnel and better training.

Amazing features. Cabin noise could use some work. e

I feel very safe in this vehicle. Panoramic sunroof, cameras for turning and parking. Reduce cabin noise and sunroof full screen when open would be nice. I might change from being a die hard Honda driver to Hyundai.

It’s a good car for the money

I’m don’t love the finishes in this as much as I loved my Palisade. It feels louder and not nearly as high end. I love the gas mileage and it ya a solid little car in terms of safety features and cameras based on the competitive options.

Good car but missing a few things for the price

Car is great and has a lot of safety features but missing two features that I had on a less expensive vehicle. 1 is the ability to set the seat for more than one driver. It has driver one and other driver on the display but it doesn’t do the seat settings an$ you have to manually chang3 them when you change drivers. 2 was automatic wipers that would turn on and up or down when it was raining. Very minor but very nice.

5th Hyundai I've owned in 25 years

This is the third Santa Fe I have owned. My last vehicle was a Grand Cherokee. When looking for a replacement for the Jeep, the Santa Fe offered the most features for the price range of vehicles I was looking at.

Nice features, could use some fine tuning

Features I rate high: lane assists, dashboard camera display when using turn signal, overall camera system. Issues that need to be fixed: wireless car play, unlocking vehicle with iPhone, engine acceleration and deceleration trying to maintain speed with cruise control, lower the blue link renewal cost.

It is very comfortable, It's very quiet. Great milage. We bought it new and are using it for our retirement vehicle. The hybrid is amazing, I never thought an suv could get better milage than our Sonata.

Style of the 2023 Santa Fe is nice.

Overall I have enjoyed driving my 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe. The style is nice and it drives well. What I do not like about this vehicle is the fact that the cameras in the back of the SUV do not detect motion or objects directly behind the vehicle, only from each side. Also I do not like the fact that the passenger seat seat sits so low with no way to raise or lower the seat unless it happens to be power seats on both driver and passenger seats which I do not have on the passenger side.

Reliable, economical but not too exciting

The 2023 is easy to handle, reliable, economical, spacious and nicely designed vehicle but besides it’s practicality don’t expect any excitement: it’s not an Alfa Romeo. For flexible and dynamic drive you’ll need to switch to sports mode or choose the turbo version.

Nice car but a lot of road noise in rear.

Nice car but as I said it is way to noise in the rear of the car and from what I hear the factory knows it. I would like to buy a new car but before it goes out of dealer there will some insulation done.

It’s fairly good

Basically, it’s a good auto. It’s easy drive but could do with a little more power. The only anoiance that I get is the occasional message that I get on the dash screen that usually corrects itself before I have to do anything. The only big complaint that I have is the dealerships. I have had trouble with two different dealerships trying to rip me off.

I like the gas mileage on the car however I often have to reset my radio computer as the screen sometimes stops working or the volume won’t work. My backup camera keeps messing up showing static on it but truthfully I haven’t been able to get to shop. The seats aren’t the comfiest but the material is 10/10 for cleaning. I love how I can put my car in smart mode to drive and it maintains good speed. I like that you can keep your beepers one without lane assist. Lane assist on one lane roads sometimes tries to throw you off the road. The touch lock on the outside works sometimes and sometimes doesn’t. The app connected is 10/10 when it’s working! The safety features are nice. I wish the engine would’ve had a stronger engine because it struggles to pick up speed on the interstate without feeling like it struggles. Overall navigation is good and I enjoy it as a first time car buyer. However I do not think I would buy it again. It will depend how long it lasts in the future after reaching 100,000 miles.

Good family car

The Santa Fe is a roomy, reliable SUV. There is plenty of space for hauling, especially with the second row folded down. Rear doors open wide for ease of entry. It has comfortable seating for 5 passengers. Great fuel efficiency!

My Red SUV

I like my Santa Fe overall. I don't like that I have to push a button every time I start the engine in order to bypass the energy saver engine mode. I don't like this mode because it causes the system to "pause" when I put on the gas from a stop sign or red light. There should be a way to turn the energy saver off permanently. I feel it is not only a nuisance but also a hazard.

Not pleased with engine noise when accelerating

also own a 2020 not nearly as noisy and RPMs raise significantly when going up hills at hwy speed with cruise control on. Previously owned a 2013 which also did not have the noise that the 2023 cae does

Not Terrible

Interior changes from the 2019 were not well thought out and made the car less comfortable. Also mileage was disappointing getting less mileage on the highway than at slower speeds. Electronics had some issues but were corrected.
