Best car I’ve ever owned
Overall Review
I absolutely love my Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy Hybrid! I’ve owned several luxury vehicles over the years, including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Lexus, and most recently, Porsche. When I decided it was time to move on from my Porsche and upgrade to something with three rows, I researched vehicles extensively before finally settling on the Santa Fe. I can honestly say I don’t regret my decision one bit! I’ve never been more satisfied with a vehicle.
I’m a little quirky, so I absolutely love that the Santa Fe looks different from everything else on the road. I love the boxy design, the unique styling, and yes, even the rear end that everyone seems to complain about! It’s definitely an eye-catcher, and I love every bit of it.
We’ve taken it on long road trips, and it’s been incredibly comfortable for everyone. It’s spacious, convenient, luxurious, and practical without sacrificing style. The amount of comfort and technology you get for the price is impressive, especially coming from luxury brands.
There are a few minor quirks that irritate me, but nothing significant enough to change how I feel about the vehicle or discourage me from purchasing another Hyundai in the future. Overall, this has been one of my favorite vehicle purchases, and I couldn’t be happier!
Pros
* Exterior design and color: Beautiful, unique, and definitely an eye-catcher.
* Luxury features: An impressive amount of premium features and comfort for the price.
* Value: Feels just as luxurious as many of the luxury-brand vehicles I’ve owned, without the luxury-brand price tag.
* Comfort and space: Extremely comfortable for long road trips, with plenty of room for the whole family.
* Convenience: Practical three-row design with thoughtful features that make everyday life easier.
* Technology: Intuitive, user-friendly app that makes managing the vehicle convenient.
* Infotainment: Easy to navigate and understand without a steep learning curve.
* Customer service: My experience with Hyundai’s customer service has been easy and pleasant so far.
Cons
* Driver attention warning: The constant “Consider Taking a Break” alerts drive me absolutely crazy! I wish there were a way to permanently disable this feature.
* Second-row climate controls: I dislike that second-row passengers cannot independently select an exact temperature and can only adjust the fan settings.
* Front seatback material: The plastic on the lower backs of the front seats scuffs incredibly easily. Thankfully, I purchased protective pads, so this was an easy fix.
* Fuel economy: My actual MPG hasn’t quite lived up to the advertised 36 MPG, although it’s not a dealbreaker for me.
Overall: A beautiful, comfortable, practical, feature-packed SUV that has genuinely exceeded my expectations. After years of driving luxury vehicles, I never expected a Hyundai to impress me this much, but here we are! I’d absolutely purchase another one.
