Poor Designed venhicle

The console modules of '26 version vs. the '24 version is a major step back. In the '24 version, the icons were lighted and easy to see, no so in the latest version. The coffee cup supposed safety feature is a terrible feature, often going off without any reason. It drives me crazy. The ' 24 version only beeped once while the '26 version beeps five times - why? Very annoying and distracting to passengers. It's a terrible and unnecessary feature and your dealer won't fix it. I will be looking for another brand to trade this piece of crap in.

Great car.Problem is that the driver's seat belt gets caught on seat.

As stated above, the driver's seatbelt sometimes gets stuck behind the seat and needs to be tugged at several times until it can be attached in the front.

26 Santa Fe SEL Hybrid Early Review

Mostly very positive. Every system is performing as designed. I am coming off a 2020 Outback Limited which is a nice, dependable SUV. Only time will tell how dependable the Santa Fe is, but after 2000 miles it has performed flawlessly. It runs quieter and smoother, has a big car feel and gets better mileage. Although it has three rows, I folded the third row and have a great cargo area. I am short and the Santa Fe seats adjust much better for me than the Outback.

Love it with some reservations

The car is stable, roomy, VERY comfortable with clean lines inside and out. We appreciate ALL the features (mileage, size, clear & wide view with minimal blind spots). We DO NOT LIKE the following. 1) The 2.25" hitch and towing load is sweet. Making a car with that towing capacity WITHOUT A TOWING MODE to turn off cross traffic/pedestrian automatic braking is irresponsible. I was advised to (not kidding) remove the trailer/platform basket when I wanted to back up. We can turn off the auto braking feature each time we start the car but still have to back up while listening to loud alarms wailing throughout the backing process. 2) Taking the car through a pull-through car wash is terrifying. The brakes lock. The warning sirens wail. Again, there's no quick and simple, dependable way to disarm the auto braking. You can hand wash. you can use ineffective car washes. You cannot use a pull-through washing system. 3) Driving in heavy cross winds and buffeting winds DOES HAVE an OCCASIONAL self-correct system...OCCASIONALLY it is in effect. CONSISTENTLY you get a distracting alarm SUGGESTING you pull over and rest. We cannot always chose when we need to get somewhere in perfect weather. High winds are common and often not predicted. The stability feature needs to be more responsive and NOT engaged for a few moments only. It also needs to "talk with" the drowsy driver alarm. LAST THING A DRIVER NEEDS IN LESS THAN IDEAL CONDITIONS IS CONSTANT ALARMS and FLASHING LIGHTS ON THE DASH.

Great vehicle. Overall I am pleased! Concerned about exhaust system.

I noticed on my new 2026 Hyundai Santa Fe, and the others on the lot at Hyundai of El Paso, that on the exhaust system (catalytic converter, muffler and exhaust pipe that there are multiple welds that appear to be rusting. I am concerned that they will rust out in time. Below I will include pictures taken recently. My vehicle was purchased 12/8/2025. I believed that the vehicle was assembled at a plant in Georgia. Also as to not raise the prices too much, the 2026 did not have a stainless steel exhaust and was modified. I appreciated keeping the cost from rising, but am concerned about this issue. Great value

The new santa fe is packed with luxury features for the price. It could use a more sl eek ecpxterior intead of the old school box shape. Seat belt buckles are clunky, I detect a future recall if issues persist with the buckles not fastening or unfastening easily. Transmission has hard shifting, but other than that smooth ride.

Brand new 26' Gone Horribly wrong

My 6th Hyundai and 4th Santa Fe & 2nd Santa Fe Hybrid--since leaving the showroom--it's been a complete disaster, too much to fully explain unless I can get a phone call from someone I can understand, please! I have THREE highly defective tires and have been to the service center 5 times-now they want me to drive my car with unsafe, dangerous tires back to my original dealership 175 miles away...HELPPPP!!!
