Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy met my goals at a price with reservations

My Santa Fe fits the growing grandkids with basic luggage and hybrid 30 mpg is acceptable; but ~10 mpg below listed. Lots of bells and whistles to learn in set-up and reason for noises. Dealer should have clarified warranty prior to purchase, including additional costs for electronics. Your reliability reputation should result in 10yr/10K warranty for the whole car up front; or reduced addition fees for extended. Undercoating should be included. Dealer service appts limited availability (2 months) is unacceptable. Dealer/Service/Sub did not know where trailer light plug was located; pigtail unavailable and costly. Overall performs well and comfy.

Couple of issues

Love the car. I bought it so I can take my grandkids camping. All the safety features gives great peace of mind when on a long trip. So does having enough electrical plug ins when to take the kids.

Great car but I'm very tired of the messages

You need to give the ability to turn off the messages: consider taking a break and you are blocking the eye scanner. Also, you cannot backup by turning off the emergency brake sensor if you have a bike rack on. It stops abruptly then will work fine after turning off the emergency brake sensor a second time. It is jaring.

Absolutely amazing

I honestly think the car is smarter than I am ha ha. It’s truly the most amazing vehicle we’ve ever owned. It drives like a dream. It senses everything around you and tells you what to do about to do. It really is an amazing vehicle and the amount of power that it has is absolutely unbelievable.

Very happy with my Hybrid Santa Fe

Electric features require a learning curve. The touch screen is very sensitive so it’s easy to accidentally turn off the a/c or turn on the heated steering wheel. The only major issue I have is with the front seat blowers…very hard to regulate. It seems the air flow is either too much or too little. However, I LOVE the cool seat feature. While I like the mid seat storage space, it’s pretty hard to access.

Superb vehicle for the money.

Love the hybrid! Great gas mileage. Extremely comfortable and very nice features. Love my cooling seats! Love my hated steering wheel, helps with my arthritis. Very reliable and worth the price.

Great vehicle but take off needs improved.

This is a great vehicle. Spacious, well built and perfect for a family. I would recommend it to anyone who has kids. I literally love the design the comfort and the ride. I have only two requests, one is to make the safety options optional to turn on or off and improve the take off speed.
