MIraglia's Santa Fe 2025

Vehicle is comfortable for first and second row. Not as much for the third row. Bigger back space with third row being up. Dashboard is hard to read for second driver the steering wheel seems to be in the way. Having to reset vehicle because of sunglasses triggering the face id is a bit too much.

Best I’ve owned

I bought the 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe non plug in hybrid as a practical purchase. I am in outside sales and spend a lot of time in the car. On average my commute is a total of 3 hours every day. Many days it’s even longer. My criteria were the following. 1) comfortable to sit in for long hours 2) economical without being inconvenient, 3) family friendly (ideal to have 3rd tow seats), 4) drives and handles for well, and ideally something I didn’t hate the way it looks. What I got has exceeded my expectations. The drive on the car is excellent. It has great acceleration when you need it, but it also handles well. It does feel heavy but brakes and corners very well considering. The ride is smooth and quiet. Maybe the smoothest feeling car I’ve ever driven and my father was a car dealer so I’ve driven a lot of different cars over the years. Fuel economy is one that really surprised me. General freeway driving I get around 35mpg. But when it’s bumper to bumper traffic it’s not uncommon for me to average over 50mpg on a hour and a half commute. So far I’ve put 32,000 miles on the car and haven’t had any problems. If there is anything I could change on the car I think it would only be that they used better quality leather. It hasn’t wore out or anything but from the day I purchased the car you can tell it’s not very high quality. You can see on the upper portion of the seats where the leather looks wrinkled. I attribute that to low quality product being used. The active cruise control and lane assist is excellent. I almost would call the car self driving other than the fact that the car monitors your eyes to make sure you paying attention. Lastly I’d say the car is significantly spacious on the interior considering the smaller exterior dimensions and the fact that it has a 3rd row seat. Feels like your driving a small SUV but with the space of a large suv. I don’t love the appearance but it’s better than a lot of other SUV’s.

Techy but needs work.

Tech is good, but could use some refinement. Complex to the point of distraction. Seats could be more padded. My F150 was more comfortable for long trips.

No doesn’t always mean NO

On September 25, 2025, I went into Hyundai of ****** **** in Jacksonville, Florida. My new-ish 2025 Santa Fe was great, I was taking it in for a service. For warranty purposes only. My appointment was for like 7-8ish in the morning. Routine Air service lasting about an hour or an hour and half. I was in the massage chairs when I was approached by ******* *******, the sales manager. He asked me a few personal questions and then he asked, what if I could get you into a new Santa Fe, 0 down, 0 interest, I said no I’m good. I have a new car. He said just come into my office, look at some numbers. I did. The only real number I seen was the $82,000 total. I said “NO!” “This is cost of a whole house.” Yes a small house, but a house none the less. After I said no a few more times, I just said Thank you and I walked out. I was not interested in a new car. I had my dream car. It was beautiful. Red simply stunning. It had everything I wanted in a car and a tow package, just in case. I was told my vehicle was ready, I was at the window paying for the service when ******. approaches me again. He says, would you please just come into my office and talk to my boss. The regional manager. I was like no I’m good. He said just come in here for a minute, listen to these numbers. I went into his office where I met the regional manager *** ******. Keep in mind the service was paid for but I hadn't gotten my keys yet, that why I went. I went into ******. office. The both of them were throwing numbers: possible payments 1700/month or 1200/month or one was like 1000/month. I was paying $900/month. They did not mention tho that the only plan with 0 interest was $1700 month. I did not find out til later about 3-5 hours later that the 1,000 month and the 1200 a month were all different interest rates. I was lead to believe that all of those payment plans were 0 interest a month. By this time it was about 10 0r 11. I was starting to get hungry, tired. Just done. But I couldn’t leave. They still had my car keys. I tried to get out. I said no numerous times. I made it out side 2 or 3 times only to go back in to get my keys. I believe I was falsely imprisoned. The barriers were up. It was like it was 2 or 3 against me. Finally about 5-7. I signed the papers, under 100% duress. I had already said NO so so many times. I knew there was no getting out without a new car. After being rushed thru paper work, not know how much I was getting for my vehicle or how much i was paying for the new one. I just knew I was going to be in debt for $80,000. I would get to leave tho. Tired, hungry, exhausted. I was going to get to leave. To top it off several material things that were promised were not honored. I wanted GAP insurance. They told me just sign these papers today and tomorrow I’ll send an email you can sign and have your GAP insurance and any other special warranties you may want. The next day I was told I could not get GAP insurance because it was too much. Could not get explanation. I just assumed that I the too much was that I owed $82,000 on a $40,000 vehicle. I found out a month later, they did not even pay off my car. I still owed $250. When I asked ***** about it, It was my fault……….I told them the wrong amount. The tax, title and registration, yeah that fell thru too. I am still running on out of date temporary tags, I have to call my DMV and get it straitened out. This is the biggest mess I’ve ever been in and all I wanted to do was get my warranty work done. I tried speaking with people at the dealership but no one cared. The only people that took interest was Hyundai, when I emailed cooperate. They cared. They pacified me for a month til I realized they really don’t care. It was cared enough that management got rearranged, that sales manager is now a sales associate and they brought in a Hanania partner to oversee sales. The only thing they offered my was a reimbursement up tp $500 for a tow package. I am enraged they fell like it’s ok to do this to women. *** ******. still has his position but he had just as much to do with retaining me there as ***** did at times.

Like the car. Hate the tires

Vehicle had vibration on test drive. Dealer agreed to fix after purchase completed. Purchased vehicle. Dealer refused to fix. I purchased two new tires elsewhere. Vehicle ride is now acceptable. The rest of the vehicle has been quite nice.
