Hyundai Sante Fe Hybrid

Very comfortable ride with all of the bells & whistles. Addition of the motor eliminates the "torque" of a normal front wheel drive when accelerating around corners.

Strong value for what you get

We are a Hyundai family.... I actually traded a Genesis GV70 which I loved, but didn't love the payment and gas milage. I went with the caligraphy edition and to my surprise it really has all the amenities of my other car with much more room, way better milage and a cost that makes it a really good value. It is quiet, has fantastic entertainment features and for a hybrid, has sufficient power. That is saying something considering my GV70 was a 3.5 liter Turbocharged engine with a lot of get up an go and I love that I can average about what the EPA estimates are on this much larger SUV.

I live my Santa Fe Hybrid.

The look, the smooth drive and comfortable ride. Only complaint is the Forward Facing detection prevents me from using cruise control while wearing sunglasses and no way to disable the feature. Very frustrating

Santa Fe hybrid vehicle is pretty good. Documentation is mediocre.

Overall, the Santa Fe hybrid is a pretty good vehicle. There are some details that could be better. The Nav system provides location coordinates by Degrees, Minutes and Seconds. To input a coordinate, one has to use decimal degrees. It would be convenient to be able to select how coordinates are input. Street names on the map display are too small and only a few roads display a name on the screen and sometimes a major road has a name displayed, other times it seems some inconsequential side street is named and the major road is unidentified. It's annoying when, as a passenger, I attempt to change a setup value and am told the car has to be in park. The user manuals are a huge disappointment. First, the hard copy provided with the vehicle is abridged. One has to download the unabridged version to find things. At least the unabridged version is searchable in Adobe reader, because the indexing of the either version of the user manual is severely lacking. Nowhere have I been able to find documented listings of what settings are retained in a user profile as opposed to what settings apply across all profiles. Nowhere is the menu schema systematically laid out so one does not have go scrolling through screens hoping to find something quickly. There a re settings that are available, but never clearly defined as to what the setting actually does, and why one would want to use it or disable it.

Great car, economy meets luxury in a capable Hybrid SUV.

The Santa Fe Hybrid Limited has a lot of luxury and s afety features found on cars costing twice as much. It was priced transparently and readily available in a variety of colors and trims, as opposed to other cars which had limited supply and high markups.

I love this vehicle. There are just a few things I would fix. There is no place to put sunglasses. The drink holders are awkwardly placed, should be further forward. The space for purses in front under the wireless charger is wasted/unreachable for me. I wish the XM radio would default to my favorites instead of all channels. There is a small rattle behind the steering column, sounds like something may me loose.

Best car I’ve ever owned!

So traded in my genesis EV and wanted a bigger car. My Santa Fe is amazing and both my husband and I are beyond happy with our decision to switch to a hybrid and a small suv. Every bell and whistle and all the luxury of a more expensive car!

Almost a great car

Car is loaded with accessories and creature comforts however misses on a few large items. Gas mileage leaves a lot to be desired, rated for mid thirties for around town and highway yet barely manages 30 all around and less on the highway. Has a very quiet cab for the most part but has a lot of wind noise on the highway. The wireless charger doesn’t ever charge a phone it just maintains the current battery level. It came with no spare being a hybrid, but it was easily added after, maybe worth adding a package with a spare from the factory. Seats are comfy for short trips but lack comfort for longer trips.
