Too many issues

The car is comfortable but has glitches. Within one month of purchase one of the tires gave out indicating poor quality. The car often won’t switch to the right gear and requires the car to be switched off.

Love our new car - Except…

This is our 2nd Santa Fe Hybrid, we really enjoy our car. BUT, in replacing our, we lost some functionality we used to have and there is NO reason for this. All of the boards we’ve searched agree that this was a BAD, senseless change. Our 1sr car - on Home Screen the name of both the song and the band/singer was right there. Our current car - on Home Screen neither the song title or band/singer is displayed. It takes TWO taps to get to this info. Who on earth thought this was a good idea??? Can this be fixed with a system update? I hope so, because this, if known in advance would’ve caused us to look for a different hybrid. Please fix this soon, please…

Excellent hybrid -

The Santa Fe hybrid ticks all the boxes - it's fun to drive, practical, comfortable, gets great gas mileage - I'm getting around 39 MPG around town. The Limited has the right amount of bells and whistles, I really enjoy driving it.

Great value for the price

The Hyundai Santa Fe vehicle is loaded with fantastic safety features. The hybrid is great on gas averaging 35 to 40 miles per gallon.

Cruise control on the latest versions of Santa fe is dangerous.

Overall the vehicle is exceptional! The operation of the cruise control and its functions need to be returned to how they originally operated as on previous models e.g. 2017. When the cruise control is engaged and you are either in an incline and or decline and you are approaching or actually into a curve, the vehicle automatically decelerates (significantly). I have experienced numerous instances where the decline in speed can be as much as 20 mph! I don't believe the brake lights illuminate either so the vehicles which may be, behind you have no warning of your vehicle's deceleration. This has caused numerous instances where I have been placed into an unsafe position while traveling with traffic. I understand the vehicle slowing down, to maintain a constant speed, when going down a hill, but going up or while in a curve, this is absurd and I believe it violates maintaining a safe driving environment. Also, on the toggle switch which allows for increasing or decreasing the speed of the vehicle while utilizing the cruise control needs to be returned to its previous function. By that, I mean that in the past, if cruise control was previously set and then disengaged, you could resume to the originally set speed by simply toggling the switch upwards (a single time) and the vehicle would return to the pre-established speed. Now, you either have to press on the throttle until it reaches the speed or you must hit the toggle switch upwards several times until it is at the desired speed. This action requires the operator to watch the speedometer until it gets to the desired speed. Note; It is not as difficult or unsafe when the vehicle has a "Heads-up display" but for vehicles which do not have that feature is requires the driver to pay more attention to the speedometer than the road. As a note, my wife and I have owned 10 Hyundais (1-Tucson, 2-Sonatas, 7- Santa Fe) and all but 2 were new purchases so I am basing my critisism from previous vehicles. For the record, both our 2025 and 2023 Santa Fe cruise controls operate the same way and only the 2025 has the head's up display.
