Love the Santa Cruz - Dealership not so much
The vehicle is everything that I thought it would be. Like the way it handles, access, controls and over all appearance. It would have been a great experience if the dealership was not so hard work with. The first salesman did not listen, could not find the vehicle, and also did not return phone calls. I contacted Key Hyundai after 8 to 10 days of not getting responses. The General Manager actual talked to me connected me with a sales manager. The second salesman was very good (Freddy Duran). But the dealership could not find the second set of keys and the sales manager was rude. The finance manager was very good and went through everything with us. We also ordered and bed extender that took some time to come in, and when it did, it had deep scratches into the metal and showed sliver through the paint. A second sales manager told me that if I accepted the bed extender, they would refund me $250. It has been over a month since the last meeting and I have not seen a check or an email related to the money.
