Quiet and luxurious

Good but room for improvement

The good: First, fit and finish seem very good. Comfort is extremely good, initial quality zero issues at 2,200 miles. Noise level the Palisade is very quiet with a very smooth ride. It's roomy for a "mid-size" SUV. The mediocre: Power is lacking, the transmission downshifts a lot on the highway trying to keep in the power. The audio system has nowhere near the sound quality of the B&O in my F150. The start button and shifter stalk take a lot of getting used to. The ugly: The Hyundai Driver Assist (HDA) is just bad. No matter where you are in your lane it wants to be somewhere else, and fights you the entire time. The automated lane change is just dangerous, the system swerves hard into the other lane and usually overshoots the lane entirely. The system is just so bad I normally keep it turned off, however every time I engage the cruise control it re-engages HDA. The speed limit sign reader frequently reads highway number signs as speed limits, so driving on highway 90 or 80 it thinks that is the speed limit. By default it turns on automatic speed control, where the cruise sets to what it sees the speed limit to be. The system has gotten me going way too fast many times, until I figured out how to turn it off. Again, the system can be dangerous. Hyundai needs to seriously upgrade the entire HDA system, or just junk it. It's that bad. Overall, it's a nice vehicle with many places for improvement. I'm not unhappy with the vehicle, but I'm not totally happy with it either.

Vehicle has had safety issues that cannot be resolved by dealer

I have a safety issue that the dealer has admitted to and cannot resolve. I have not heard anything from the National Hyundai company, even though I reported the issue and worked with the dealer on it.

Disappointing car and company

Electrical issues and the company is either not willing to help or does not know the problem. Vehicle not worth the price tag. Order somewhere else.

Geogeous, safety conscious, spacious and smooth drive

Great design but enhance the vehicle perception by stamping the series eg limited,premium,sports with larger tires at the rear, base, autobiography etc on the vehicle. Location of start/ stop button could be relocated front of cellphone port.

Best SUV I have ever owned.

I have had my Paliside only 3 months but out of my past vehicle this is the nicest car I have owned. And Evansville Hyundai not enough can be said.

Saved my life

I was in a roll over accident and walked out without a scratch. Inside of car remained untouched. I love this car and I know 4 other people who bought this car because friends of theirs survived similar accidents. See picture below.

Quite disapointing

We owned a 2023 Palisade Calligraphy HTrac. We were very pleased with vehicle. 2026 PC HTrac seemed like a nice upgrade. One touch rear entry for seats. Advertised a better engine. Slight size increase in all the right places. More efficient redesign in interior space. Engine is under powered and gets significantly less fuel mileage. Lane keeping assist which we used and trusted in our 2023 is not used much except on straight roads as it wanders around lane and will not take curves without occasionally leaving lane. Dealer has no solution. One touch rear seating has been disabled by manufacturer and there are no plans to provide a fix. Accelerator pedal has very slow response rate. When slowing to turn right or left at an intersection there is a dead spot. If one pushes pedal a bit more vehicle downshifts and engine finally responds with excessive power.

Gas savor

We both love it so far. The only thing I don’t like is I have to keep turning the gas saver off. If it would stay off after pushed would be great

Love it

Love the new body style 2026 Palisade .. only complaint is that I wish it didn't have the auto/stop (that shuts off engine) and that it had the same engine as my 2023 Palisade . new 3.5 is a little lazy .
