Very Impressed!

I bought my new Palisade Calligraphy SUV about 5 months ago. One of the things I kept saying to my husband was, "This car HAD to be designed by a woman!" It has cameras almost everywhere. The side mirrors adjust downward when backing up to see low profile items beside the car, such as animals and children. I love that the turn signals do more than just indicate you are about to change lanes. They also show you (on the instrument panel in front of you) what is in the lane beside and behind you. What a wonderful idea! Instead of looking over your shoulder to make sure the lane is clear, you simply take a quick look at your instrument panel. It's also a very ingenious way of encouraging people to use their turn signals. The seats contour to your body better than any other that I have been in. I recently had to have gallbladder surgery. My right side was still tender from the surgery when I first started driving again. I was able to adjust my seat so that it literally wrapped around my back and braced both sides. The instrument panel gives you a varies of display options. I prefer to see my current speed, along with the posted speed and any warning signs (school zone, curve ahead, street crossing, etc.). The side mirrors, of course, light up when a vehicle enters your blind spot. When backing up, not only will the car warn you audibly about objects behind you, but you will also feel vibrations in the steering wheel. The car has a very smooth ride and plenty of get-up-and-go when you need it. The center console has 2 drink holders, a charging pad for your smart phone, and an ultraviolet sanitizing compartment. Now I have to admit, I knew a lot of people during COVID that were scared to death of getting sick and the UV sanitizing compartment may have been a brainchild of those COVID years. I don't use it to sanitize my personal belongings, but I do use it as a storage cubby, and it works just fine for that, too. The 2nd row captain's chairs have plenty to space in between to get to and from the 3rd row bench seat. I usually leave the 3rd row seat folded down to allow for plenty of room for groceries and whatever I might be carrying in the back. But it sure is nice to have the extra seating when the family gets together and we go somewhere in the car. Now, for what is probably MY FAVORITE thing to use...the parking cameras. I use those cameras almost every time I pull into a parking space. It shows an overhead view of the car, the parking lines, and anything around the car. I can tell exactly how far up to pull to be in my space. There are many other bells and whistles on this car that will entice your senses. I've been driving for over 50 years now and of all the vehicles I've ever driven, this one is at the top of my list!

2026 XRT Pro

Overall, the Hyundai Palisade XRT Pro (2026) represents a solid option for a family vehicle. While the vehicle has decent options for the price, the interior and exterior appear to be made with cheap materials that will not age well. Sold as an "off-road" capable vehicle, the XRT Pro trim consistently rattles when driving on basic gravel roads. Interior rattles are present (even on brand new road surfaces) and difficult to find and fix. Fortunately, Hyundai offers a commendable warranty that will, no doubt, be relied upon frequently during ownership.

All was great until Bluelink was found to never work

Luxury room and ride are just the beginning. The Palisade was above expectations. Since purchased in November, it is a joy to drive. The negative that brings the value of this vehicle down to me is that Blue Link was never set up properly by whoever's to set it up and Blue Link has still not worked. Although Blue Link says they have elevated the case several times and will get back with me. This has not happened. Evidently there is no solution for getting the Blue Link working and it makes me want to think about trading this new Palisade.

I have reoccurring problems with the lock / unlock of door The front lower fender piece is cheap plastic that broke for no reason The finish looks dirty all the time

I wouldn't do it

This vehicle has all the bells and whistles, but lacks some of the basic fundamentals. It has no acceleration and feels sluggish to drive. The transmission can't find the right gear...always shifting. The inside console doesn't allow you to reach beneath it. They should have built it similar to the Santa Fe console. The amount of recalls is also getting ridiculous. Not to mention a child was killed because of the auto seats. The resale value on these cars will be garbage. I tried to trade mine back in two days after owning is and was going to take a 10,000 dollar hit. No thanks.

A mistake

We purchased this vehicle and had problems on our first trip. Transmission overheating, lift gate broke, also matte finish care was never discussed and we had to spend extra to protect the finish

A lot of car for the money

I find my 2026 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy gives me a nice ride with a spacious, good looking interior. The more I drive it, the better I like it.

2026 Hyundai Palisade Caligraphy

Love the car. It rides very smooth and quiet. Love the design and the interior is absolutely beautiful. I have only one complaint. I can’t see the panel lights during the daytime. For example the blue lights for the seat ac and the red lights for the seat heater and the steering wheel heater and the stop start off light.

My second Hyundai Palisade and they keep getting better.

The Palisades keep getting better! My first Palisade was a 2020 Black Limited which I picked up in October 2019. It was one of the first ones in the area. It had some new car growing pains and were quickly resolved. I wasn’t looking for a new car but when I saw the 2026 Calligraphy, I was sold. It is really a wonderful car to drive. It has every imaginable options which make long trips great.
