Hyundai Palisade

So far I am enjoying my new Hyundai Palisade. It has a lot of safety features and cameras. It is comfortable and fun to drive. The only flaw I have found so far is there seems to be a design flaw with the headlights. When on at night there are 2 triangles that project down on the lighted area you see. It is distracting when driving. When I asked the dealership they said they have heard this complaint before and they fixed it on the 2026 model. Doesn’t seem to be a work around for the 2025 model I have.

Perfect size, not to big and not too small

I'm very happy with my purchase. It's been a challenge to get used to all the new bells and whistles, but that is to be expected. I can really tell a lot of thought went into the design.

Still like my Palisade

I do like my car but I don't like my service from my dealership. Too much upsell and too little tech knowledge with my sales person who's trying to sell me stuff that he doesn't know the details as I ask.

Great car so far. I wish that the calligraphy black trim came with leather option instead of the Napa suede. I’m getting the highest trim, I should be able to have leather. It’s also weird I have to plug in for car play to work instead of connecting through Bluetooth.

Great, but complicated

This is our second Palisade, and the first Calligraphy. We love these vehicles, however, I am tech savvy, if you will, my spouse is not. I have to ferret out everything. The ability to control EVERYTHING is great, but there must be a simpler way. Perhaps a master cheat sheet as to what everything is called. The endless hidden menus is really frustrating. God help you, after everything is dialed in, then take it to the dealership for some work and everything has to be reset! That's why I haven't taken it to be serviced lately, I don't see in the next 6 weeks having an entire afternoon to put it all back together again. Other than that, which is the only complaint we have, we love the damned thing!

Great car! Could use little improvement.

The car drives well, but the braking needs work. It consistently engages the ABS for no apparent reason, and the brakes feel shaky. When I’m turning a corner and braking at the same time, the brake pedal tends to shake or the ABS activates unnecessarily. This has reduced my braking performance and made me hesitant to brake while taking corners or driving on rough surfaces. Overall, the car is great.

My WONDERFUL RIDE

I am nearly 67 years old and I have been driving for 51 years. This 2025 Palisade Calligraphy is the most wonderful vehicle I have ever driven. It rides like it is on a cloud. It is so quiet I sometimes forget it’s even running. Everyone we have ever driven has commented on how beautifully it is appointed and how comfortable it is. My wife and I feel the same way, and so, it is very gratifying to hear from those who are riding with us, that they are riding in comfort and are pleased with the ride.

Could easily be 5 stars!

I'm finding a few of features on my old '19 Honda EX-L that aren't available on my 2025 Palisade Premium vehicle that I used regularly. The auto lock when exiting vehicle is not a feature on this "mid-tier" trim level costing $20,000 more than the CRV. I have to either press a button on the handle, use the app on my phone which is time consuming and not a great option when its raining or snowing, or lock the old fashioned way with the key fob. The other feature is setting the Auto High beam on permanently which you also can not do. Finally, it was convenient in the CRV to just push the start button, select the gear and go. Now after I start the SUV I have to press a "Confirm" button on the vehicle screen, then reset the auto high beam, then select the gear. Also, I am in need of service for one of my tires and have found it difficult to use the MyHyundai app to schedule service. When requesting service for my selected dealership the "webpage was not found". I get almost daily emails on how to use my new vehicle so Hyundai gets an A+ for effort but delivery of support is questionable. Driving out of the dealership with the new car I noticed the tire pressures all were not identical, one was 2 PSI off. After the tires warmed up, the lower pressure tire changed to being only 1 PSI off so I figured the initial nitrogen fill up was not exact on all tires. Now, three months later I get a low tire pressure warning on that one tire 4 PSI lower than the others.
