this vehicle has been stellar! the smooth ride is a real highlight. next up would be the embedded technology (cameras, assist features, magsafe charging and CarPlay)

I brought a lemon

I purchased a brand-new Hyundai, and less than ten days later experienced a serious safety issue when the entire dashboard and infotainment system went completely black while driving. The Hyundai dealership could not recreate the problem and told me “no issue found,” despite the obvious risk. Less than a month later, the check engine light came on, and my vehicle sat in their service department for over a month waiting on a back-ordered part. I understand repairs can take time, but the lack of urgency, extended loss of use, and absence of meaningful support or compensation on a brand-new vehicle has been extremely disappointing. This experience has raised serious concerns about reliability, customer care, and how warranty issues are handled.

Less than great gas mileage

Love that vehicle. Not thrilled about th gas mileage nothing close to 30mpg. Also the hidden cover that goes over the keyhole on the drivers door will not stay in place and the dealership told it is a non warrantied $400 fix .i paid extra for a bumper to bumper warranty for what? Thinking I should sell it now before I hit 6k miles

2026 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy HEV

We have over 6000 miles on the vehicle so far with no issues. It is very comfortable on long trips especially with the lane centering and following features. Seats are very comfortable, but I would prefer the thigh extension over the current "lounge chair" feature. Also, the steering wheel adjustment should be electric, not manual and the easy in and out should move the driver's seat back fully.

Great stylish car with some learning curves

I love the style and features my car has. There's a huge learning curve to get good gas mileage. I've had to change my driving style a lot to get better gas mileage, but it's still not where I'd like it to be. It's only about 4 mpg better than my gas powered Palisade I traded in, that I drove my normal way.

Possible Improvements

I reviewed the car earlier and commented on the trailer hitch and mileage. I forgot to mention that you may want to consider cup holders between the seats in the second row. My previous Toyota Highlander had a colaspable holder that was useful. Also, please consider a 'real' spare tire. The tire kit will not be useful in very cold temperatures or traveling in more remote areas.

My review

Overall it is a great suv. I had a 2020 Palisade and just purchased a 2026. It as all the same features with a few new ones. I like that Blue link doesn’t need a monthly fee. I waited for the Hybrid model to get a bit more horsepower off the line and better gas mileage. The horsepower was good but I have yet to get 500 miles on a tank of gas. I was upset that I had a check engine light come on at 2095 miles for the air flap system. I had to take it in for service. It took 3 weeks to get the part. They said it was do to corrosion in the wires. I do worry if that is corroding at 2000 miles what else will happen.

Almost Perfect: Exceptional Luxury with a Few Minor Design Quirks

I just picked up the 2026 Palisade Hybrid and I’m honestly obsessed with it. It feels way more like a high-end luxury car than a typical family SUV—the cabin is super quiet and it’s packed with every bell and whistle you could ask for. I’m giving it 4 stars because there are a few little quirks to know about: the transmission sometimes has a tiny 'brain fart' where it takes a second to decide between electric and gas when you step on it, but it’s a small price to pay for the awesome gas mileage you get. Also, the sun visors are huge (heads up if you sit close to the wheel!) and the AC buttons are a bit of a reach toward the passenger side. But even with those tiny things, this car is a total home run. I really want this model to sell like crazy so Hyundai keeps supporting it for years—if you're on the fence, definitely go drive one!
