Love my Ioniq 6!

It's comfortable, safe, agile, very efficient and fun to drive. Battery range is great, it's low maintenance (Hyundai, please stop sending me offers for an oil change LOL) and I like the different drive modes with AWD for wet or snowy weather. I use the i-Pedal (1-pedal driving) a lot. Fast charging away from home is not always easy for me to find but I'm still learning and hopeful.

My first foreign car...

Overall, I like the Ioniq 6. Driving the car is pleasant, fun and comfortable. My rating - and my disappointment - is some of the programming implementation, especially compared to the American cars I've driven for the past 50 years (really last 20 since computers.) My personal disappointments: 1 - It doesn't self-lock (and it leaves the handles sticking out - "advertising" it is unlocked.) If it can text me it's unlocked, why can't we change a setting to make it lock. 2 - Accessory power vs. Run power. Things like: A- windows and garage door opener should function on Accessory (and residual power after turning off). My habit is to open garage BEFORE powering car, and closing garage AFTER powering off. I'll never accidentally drive into door this way. Can't do either with Ionic 6. B- Car off, oops, should have put windows up. Need to get in, foot on brake - power switch to get power to windows. Power switch for accessories should do this. C- Remote keyfob CLOSE windows. I think some stupid person hurt their kid, most manufacturers took this away. Require waiver that you are "smart person" to buy car. D- Approach UNLOCK doesn't always work if you have visited the trunk first. Still have to dig fob out of pocket to unlock (or maybe walk around car, which I haven't tried.) 3 - Remote drive should have slightly longer range. I can't remote drive into or out of garage without having to "walk with car" (sometimes garage too packed to use doors.) 4 - Expanded use of cameras for defensive purposes.

Fun and efficient car

I truly enjoy driving my Hyundai Ioniq 6! It is fun to drive, quiet and appreciate the regenerative braking. Minor disappointments: manual adjustment of passenger seat (SEL model with leather) and blurry back-up camera.

Great car, Tesla Beater

Great vehicle for the pricepoint- the materials are nice and the ride quality compared to some other vehicles in the segment (Model 3) is much nicer. There are some small quality of life things that could be improved but overall it's a pretty car with a great interior and great range.

So far this car has not had any problems the only issues I have found is the sensor is really sensitive and stop light and the ICCU is always a concern that it does not happen to me. There are no other complaints

Good driving comfortable vehicle for daily commute.

Love the comfort. Not complex to operate and love the lane assist and adaptive cruise. Range is pretty spot on. Wanted not a Tesla and have enjoyed it overall.

Fantastic ride and handling

Ride comfort and handling are at the top of my list for the Ioniq 6. Very smooth acceleration and great interior design. Seems a little noisy for an electric vehicle, but definitely quieter than hybrids. Wish the mileage was a little more but it charges quick utilizing DC fast chargers. The mobile app is a little clunky but works good for the necessities. Wish the supplied home charger was faster.
