Head turning design

Overall very impressive electric vehicle. Quiet, comfortable, fun to drive, impressive performance and a quality product. The PDW system needs some refining. There are too many instances where the warning sounds but there is nothing close by, which can lead to ignoring the warning. The backup camera needs improved to a wider angle view. My previous Mazda 6 had a much better wide angle camera. I’ve only had the car for 4 months and the “Reliability“ rating had to be answered thus the 8 rating.

Quality Vehicle, Great Features, Solid Ride

My second Ioniq 6 is a great vehicle. Acceration/ride is very smooth. The dash/controls are well layed out. Nice mix of buttons for often used functions and touch screen for details. The vehicle is well constructed. Lines are straight and panels fit together well. The vehicle is a pleasure to dive from a ride standpoint and cockpit experience. My only suggestion would be to add cameras and recording system.

Our first "fun" car purchase

The Hyundai Ioniq 6 has been a standout experience in my first three months of ownership. As someone new to performance vehicles, I’ve found it thrilling—responsive, smooth, and packed with automation features like Smart Cruise and Highway Assist that make every drive feel effortless and fun. It’s the first car I’ve owned that genuinely feels exciting behind the wheel, and it’s backed by flawless build quality and reliability so far. The lease terms were excellent, making it a strong value proposition for what you get. Comfort and design are mostly great, though not without quirks. The interior feels modern and well thought out, but headroom is a bit tight—especially above the driver’s seat, where I occasionally bump into the upper trim getting in and out. The open sunroof also looks a little odd from the outside, which slightly detracts from the otherwise sleek styling. Feature-wise, it’s nearly perfect, though the sound system could use a boost. Overall, the Ioniq 6 delivers a premium, performance-forward experience that’s both practical and genuinely enjoyable.

Best drive ever experienced

The comfort and control that this car features is amazing. I’ve never driven a car so smooth, though this is my first EV. Affordable yet tons of luxury with all the attention to detail. I would recommend this car to anybody looking for a fast, sporty, roomy EV.

Great car, needs some big changes

I love the ride quality and the look and feel of the vehicle. But the technology and UX is seriously lacking. The regenerative breaking is simply awful, WAY too weak. I want a much stronger setting to get a true one-pedal driving experience more similar to Rivian or Tesla. Also, I hate that I have to use a paddle on the back of the steering wheel to change the regen every single time I get in the car. It drives me insane. Give me a set it and forget it setting in the UI that remembers how I like it. And for the love of god just give it much stronger regen. The turning radius is wider than I was expecting in a sedan, and the heads up display is a little useless since it doesn’t display the maps data from my apple CarPlay maps. The built-in maps are some of the ugliest I’ve ever seen, so I only use my CarPlay maps.

Incredible car

I really love the car. Its got awesome acceleration. Design is great. Good range and charging speeds. Its only flaws are that it doesn't have wireless carplay/android auto. Its ventilated seats are on the weaker side of cooled seats. It also have some NVH in the RH front door at low speeds 10-40. Also the accelerator vibrates aggressively when the HVAC is on full blast.

Loving our EV

First time buying a new vehicle, and my wife and I did a lot of research. We looked at a lot of different manufacturers and we're torn between our ioniq 6 Limited and a Cadillac Lyriq. Of course, the Lyriq is in a class of its own, but coming from a GMC Denali, luxury was something we leaned towards. In the end, we went with the 6 because it made the most practical sense in our case, especially never having owned an Ev before. After owning the car for over 2 months now and daily driving it, I'm very please with it in almost every way. Little complaints here and there I will go into detail below, but overall, my wife and I love it.

A sporty car that is fun to drive with a few flaws.

This is a comfortable, very cool looking and fun car to drive. While the design is controversial to some, others have commented it looks like a vintage Porsche. It is peppy and corners like your driving a high end sports car.
