Review of 2024 Hyundai Elantra

My husband and I are elderly. We needed to downsize from our previous 2008 Ford Expedition to a smaller vehicle. We used to tow a travel trailer, which we no longer do. The first time we saw the red Hyundai Elantra at the dealership, we immediately fell in love with it. It is a classy looking car, it has all the bells and whistles of a modern car and handles like a dream.

Happy Hyundai grandma

I’ve had 3 leased Hyundai’s. My 1st was a Sonata and then 2 Elantra limited. I’ve been very pleased with all that it offers. It’s sporty, comfortable, runs well and good gas mileage and affordable. Highly recommend

Fourh Hyundai in 20 years

This is my 4th Hyundai. In the past 20 year. The first two were Sonatas and the last two were Elantra Limited. I switched due to cost increases of Sonata to keep my monthly payments about the same. The Sonata felt more "solid" on highway / faster speed roads. Other than that, everything else was the same or better, especially the interior dashboard indicator information. The first two weeks of driving resulted in over 20 positive comments from strangers about the modern futuristic external style rear plus front headlight area. I get about 32 miles per gallon highway (thought I'd get more) an 28 mpg local / city driving (thought)m I'd get less.

My experience on the new 2024 elantra.

I only have 500 miles so far on the car. It is still new. A 2024. So far not bad. I enjoy the way it rides and drives. Always of hoping and praying for reliability and already the tire pressure is low with the light indicator on.

Perfect fit

This was our first non suv or crossover. We wanted a sedan with good gas mileage, comfortable, sporty with features and affordable. This car completely fits what we wanted. Even the base model which is what we got was affordable.

I like the car .. still getting use to it. Not very fond of the auto control of the car

I had a 2020 that got better gas mileage. This car seems to be a bit roomier. I like the styling of the car. It seems peppier than the 2020. The heated seats are nice.. the dash is a learning experience that I have not mastered yet

Great car

I love my new Elantra! It handles well and was a great price. It’s also a nice looking car! My grandchildren and their friends were impressed with our choice. I was amazed at the amount of space in the cargo area!

Gen z friendly car

The car sounds great. Looks great feel spacious but the center consult really does ruin the interior as for the side passenger. There are a lot of good features especially the safety features in the limited version. The car is not difficult to learn or to drive.

By any year Elantra or stay dumb!!!

These cars sell themselves and are perfect for any driver at any legal age. I've owned three Hyundai vehicles in the last 5 years. A 2018 Hyundai Elantra Sport/Turbo, a 2020 Hyundai Accent and now a 2024 Hyundai Elantra SEL. Hyundai Rocks to be sure. Buy one and get happy baby!!!

My experience with this car has been amazing so far

This car is great really love the sport mode. Smooth ride amazing gas mileage and doesn’t empty my wallet to refuel at the pump. This car is amazing really recommend it for everyone. Love the safety features, automatic hands free connectivity system sounds great inside very comfortable the only problem I have is opening the trunk with the remote feels like it takes forever but besides that this is a 5 star vehicle!!!!

Excellent support/service. Per Consumer Reports comparisons, top quality

Quality in line with Toyotas and Hondas for $1000s less cost. Comfortable interior. Drives very well. Good power. At purchase, expect barrage of emails - information overload. Expect a steep learning curve. Manuals a bit difficult to understand or use as reference. But excellent support from sales person.

I'm so excited!

I love my car. It drives smoothly and its a nice size for me. Great on gas too! My car sellsman was awesome. He worked his magic and got me into a car that I love. I have since referred my family and friends who had also purchased!

Quality vehicle with excellent fuel economy.

I am very satisfied with my 2024 Hyundai Elantra SE. The car has been completely reliable with no mechanical issues. One minor annoyance is the driver alert warning, which occasionally activates unnecessarily, suggesting I "consider taking a break" after as little as 20 minutes of driving. However, the vehicle more than makes up for it with its excellent fuel efficiency, consistently averaging 42 mpg for both city and highway driving—better than its rated fuel economy. Overall, it's a great car that exceeds expectations.

Dream Car

This vehicle is the most beautiful, comfortable, safe ride any one could imagine. Not only are the safety features reliable but easy to understand and operate. The incredible engine pickup allows confidence in accelerating in heavy traffic without hesitation. The many features on the dash are easy to manipulate. I am truly sold on Hyundai products.

2024 is worth it but the 2025 is not

Blind spot detection, 360 camera, and adaptive cruise control, and lane keeping assist are the main pros of this car. They removed these features from the 2025 model so models after 2024 are not worth it anymore.

Extremely reliable vehicle for the amount of money that I paid. Easy to park and easy to drive. This is my fourth Elantra and we have been pleased with every one. We have even given two of them to our sons.
