Fun car, missing features

The car is great. Most fun I’ve had in a vehicle. The car should have came with features other markets get like auto folding mirrors, heated steering wheel, sunroof for manuals, and so on. I really feel like Hyundai dropped the ball on the US version and if I were to do it over again I’d go with a Genesis G70.

I hate forced default settings!

Great car! BUT, I wish Cars would stop trying to force us to accept default settings when I switch off the car! If I switch off Forward Collision I want it to STAY OFF!!! why does the car rob me of my setting decisions every time i re-start it?! Your Cooperate lawyers are not driving my car I AM. Respect my choice to turn them off. My old Acura 2016 ILX kept it off when I turned it off. STOP DEFAULT SETTINGS, I CAN CHOOSE WHAT TO TURN ON. WORST? I CANT TURN OFF FORWARD ASSIST WHILE THE CAR IS MOVING?! WHY NOT?

The fun to drive Elantra N

The car has a buttery smooth transmission and terrific acceleration when needed. The competition blue color is unique and has already caused many people to comment favorably on the sporty nature of the vehicle.

Love and dislike

I absolutely love my car but I can’t get used to the seats. They are made for racing not for everyday use. It has hard sides on the bottom seat and back. It gets really hot because it hugs you and no air gets through

A true drivers car and my favorite so far!

The 2025 Hyundai ELANTRA, and is one of the best vehicles you can buy for the price point. I had a great appreciation for the vehicle. Even before I purchased it, I understood what it was and what’s kind of market it was supposed to attract, and I was one of those targets. The driving experience in this vehicle is excellent and this new generation with the face lift is just looks absolutely stunning. Realistically, I only have two complaints of the vehicle, that being that whenever I set my N steering wheel buttons to my preference, the revert back. It’s a little annoying but not sure if it’s my biggest complaint. Second, I have the manual transmission ELANTRA N, and sometimes I have a issue where my gear shifter won’t go into first from neutral. I have to put the car into second before I can reengage it back into first. It’s the only way it lets me into first. This doesn’t happen often, but when it does, it can be very annoying.

Genuinely cannot beat this car for the money.

I feel like saying this car is a great value does it a disservice because, while that’s true, this car more than overshoots its immediate price bracket competitors and challenges the likes of the Civic Type R and GR Corolla, cars with the backing and heritage of Honda and Toyota. Where those cars don’t succeed, however, is the raw fun on a daily basis that this car provides out of the box. Almost every car I’ve ever had, whether it was a performance compact or a sports car, required modifications to get the “theatrical” emotion from driving (with induction and exhaust noises). The Hyundai N cars, however, are the first cars I’ve owned where I did not need to make any immediate modifications to the exhaust or intake to enjoy the sounds and thrills of a well-tuned powertrain. This car is a reminder of the joy of driving and I hope to see the N brand and its ethos continue on for decades to come.

Fun Car Ruined by "Safety" Features

The Elantra N looks sleek and stylish and it handles nicely being very quick and responsive. I could forgive the loose panels if it wasn't for the Driver Attention Warning. After an hour of driving this thing will start beeping non stop. It doesn't matter if you're driving in a perfectly straight line it will still beep at you ev3ry couple of minutes. Its loud and distracting and forces you to take your eyes off the road. I've combed through the manual and online forums and this thing cannot be turned off so long rides are miserable AND unsafe! Modern cars are over computerized and it ruins them. Do not buy the 2035 Elantra.

Best Value for a Performance Car today!

I love this car, I think Hyundai is doing great things with this car keep it up! I just wish the build quality was slightly better to the point where it wouldn't be disrupting to the price of the vehicle too much. My biggest gripe is the octane learning of the car, I wish it would be automatic and it didn't require a technique to get it working like other cars for example (Audi). There is also wind noise coming from the driver side window which can't be fixed at a dealership. I also wish the paint wasn't so fragile. The worst part of owning this car is the dealership experience , the car is amazing but the dealership (most not all) really is terrible here in USA.

Incredible machine for the price.

This car is an amazing machine, good quality, powerful, nice design and good looking interior. Easy to customize and to increase the power. It has 276 HP to the wheels not to the crank which means between 316 hp to 325 HP to the crank (dyno tested).

Sound system & ambient lighting & headlight lightbar

Could be better sound, it’s not the best but it is doable. The ambient lighting should go front dash to the driver & passenger front doors like the Sonata N-Line. Once again the sonata N-Line has the light bar on the front of the car which is super cool in my opinion, should have been added to the Elantra N.

Elantra N is a joy to own and drive

After a long search for a new car, I chose the Elantra N because of its unique options and the joy I experienced when test driving it. It met all my options that I was looking for in a new car except being a hybrid. I am 2.5 months into owning the car and have very few issues and still enjoy the car immensely.

Excellent Car

I bought this car for practical commuting and track use that is reasonably warrantied. Car has been phenomenal for both and actually quite surprising with all the standard technology and seating and driving comfort. Sales and service experience has also been near perfect.

Best bang for your buck for this kind of performance and tech

Vehicle looks amazing, has an amazing exhaust note, rides great, and can handle most anything thrown at it when it’s being pushed to its limits. Hyundai is killing it with their new N cars!
