Overpriced, under spec'd, awful dealership and service experiences

The Honda CR-V Hybrid is a mediocre car at its best. The car lacks in comfort and technology so don't allow that glossy new exterior fool you. It's gonna stink when you get inside. If your someone who is in your car less than an hour a day this car will be fine. If your someone commuting or using your car for daily hauls or a longer trip vehicle say goodbye to your back and be prepared to fight the infotainment system and its outdated USB ports. In the newer models they finally added USB-C but USB-A in my vehicle is so bad that it disconnects the devices I have and stops charging or stops CarPlay and Android Auto. The OS for the infotainment is so bad and outdated that it will feel like you bought a 2004 model vehicle from the looks, lack of information the car cannot pull from your device if you opt to just bluetooth for music. It's pretty sad. The Honda is equipped with one of the oldest versions of Bluetooth which causes lag, poor connection, and lack of ability to pull album art, information and song title 95% of the time. Pricing for the car isn't competitive for what is featured on the car. The car lacks across all model years with this look a pano sunroof options, 360 camera for its trailsport edition and highest model, lacking ventilation for seats, better equipped high speed charging ports, poorly laid out space, cheap material quality inside that's fading and falling apart after 2 years of ownership, uncomfortable seats in front and back and just terrible overall layout inside. The honeycomb vent while eye catching is a lint and dirt trap. Hard to clean and provides nowhere for you to install something for your phone. I don't recommend using the space provided under the HVAC controls. In most models there is a wireless charger there and other older models depending on trim there is not. The space will slide your device if you are connected to a cable for charging or phone projection and because of how poor the space is for phones, esp larger Pro Max or Galaxy Ultra sized devices this car will damage or break your charging cable. I've lost 8 cables in the 2 years of ownership because the car is so bad at providing enough space to place the device down out of the way. If you want to mount the device you have to use a sticky substance item that goes to the windshield. Honda makes sure you cannot attach anything to the surfaces by making them uneven so your windshield is the best bet you will have. Overall as a daily city car its okay. Trunk space is average at best, back seats don't recline but also are not comfortable for long trips. Front seats are even worse for comfort for longer drives. So don't plan to haul the family around in this. One other person two max is about as good as this car can handle with how poorly its laid out and how uncomfortable it is. Honda also offers one the worst experiences at its dealerships and service centers. If you like being treated like trash visit your local Honda dealership where they will talk down to you, refuse to fix your recall because you didn't buy you car there, refuse to provide basic services, and if you just want to hate yourself. Honda's vision of allowing dealerships to represent their brand shows how poorly Honda views its relationship with its customers. As qualify and reliability tanks at Honda they are more concerned about price gouging and up charging. Honda supports this at the dealership level including the poor treatment of its customers. Honda states when you reach out they inform the dealer, but they don't. Honda wants you to feel excluded and like trash when you visit them because it allows their teams to manipulate the situation to their advantage to make you leave or pay premium for their lackluster cars for huge prices that don't match anything in the car causing that price on the model. Honda is one of the worst customer service brands in the industry, right there with Chevrolet. Do yourself a favor and buy the RAV4 hybrids if you want to get a reliable good quality vehicle. Or a Tucson Hybrid if you want the tech and comfort.

Only 2,000 miles…

This is my second CR-V…the other has 160,000 miles in very good condition. It’s comfortable for driver and passengers with sufficient space for travel. I only have 2,100 miles on it so MPG can’t be judged yet. The only problem I’m having is getting used to all the features that my 2012 doesn’t have.
