Too many problems!

Love it, but there are a few technology issues

Love the car, but the technology is sometimes quirky. The screen changes without me touching it. Memory Seats do not stay as programmed

Overall satisfaction

The information screen is not user friendly and the ability to separate the sound between the front and rear speakers in the surround sound mode is not available. The driver seat is extremely uncomfortable when driving for more than 2 hrs.

my second GV80

Upgraded from Advanced+ to Prestige, and I'm extremely happy with it. It's fun to drive and very high tech. The Prestige seats are much more comfortable than the Base/Advanced, and the sound system is awesome. Sure there are some minor bugs with the software, but most any software defined vehicle has similar items-- it's worth it to live at the edge. I'm still not completely decided on the new infotainment/cluster setup. There are parts of the older configuration that I like better, especially the split screen that lets me see music/media information and map at the same time. The in-cluster widget just doesn't do the same thing- oddly enough the view that I miss exists in this software, just in the form of a pop-up that you can't control or have as a persistent display. Otherwise, I consider this a nice upgrade from my previous (23) model. That's even more true now that I have a solid dealer for service. One issue- my Capri Blue was delivered with "orange peel" in the clear coat. The dealer's detailing team polished it, and it looked fine. A couple of months later, you can notice some minor reemergence of this, and worse, the clear coat is easily damaged by normal bird droppings, etc (can't be corrected by washing or polishing). I have an appointment with the Genesis dealer this week to address it, so fingers crossed.
