I Love my vehicle.. IT JUST COST TOO MUCH

My Genesis V80 is a great car, the main problems I have had were getting the software updates took months and multiple trips to the dealer before it finally only updated because it did the over the air update. But the update came in months ago, but did not update my vehicle. I have also had some issue with items not working correctly like the drawer charges not staying closed, but the dealers automotive dept is very responsive. Last but not least the vehicle is entirely too pricey, I had to go the the highest level to get the item that I wanted. It still seems too much for so much plastic, I know that is how automobiles are made now, very little if any metal... all plastic. So, love it, hate the price I had to pay.

Smoothest vehicle I’ve ever driven!

This is my second GV80, and though I had the opportunity to pick almost any vehicle I wanted after I turned in my first GV80, I decided to stick with the same make and model!!! It’s easy to maneuver, extremely comfortable, user friendly, fun to drive, and I feel very safe and confident in my GV80!!

New to Genesis

I love the vehicle but am very annoyed by the window that pops up on the dash from time to time with a bell sound recommending I take a coffee break. Unfortunately, in the 2025 there is no way to turn this off. It is. Dry difficult to tolerate! The digital key on my phone will trigger the gate to open as I approach the vehicle in my parking garage, and the car will not unlock and open as I grab the handle. It requires several tries. The ride is nice and quiet and smooth.

A Great Driiving Experience

I have to admit, that I'm slightly prejudiced, in terms of my appreciation of my 2025 Genesis GV80 Prestige. Before this I had a 2022 Genesis GV80 Advantage. I love the experience of drive that SUV. It had all the creature comforts of a luxury vehicle, along with enhanced safety features, When I saw the upgraded interior of the 2025 GV80, I knew that I was going to buy it. I was glad that I did. The ride is even more smooth than the 2022 and the revised interior is fantastic. Everyone who sees it, falls kin love with it, especially the expanded Infotainment system screen. It is true luxury SUV.

Your coffee break safety feature is terribly annoying.

The feature take a coffee break is absolutely the worst thing I have ever experienced with any vehicle I have ever owned. It’s terrible and your people refuse to do anything to stop it. If I had known this feature came with this car I would not have purchased it. Everybody is talking about it. It makes this car the worst driving experience ever.0

Overall, excellent. The cluster is a bit clunky

The cluster had an adjustment period more than other cars but I am getting there. It seems that everything is a few extra steps to get to where I want to go every time I get in the car. I have a Lincoln Nautilus and it seems to be a more streamlined with very similar features.

Great ride

smooth ride, very safe - only big dissapointment for me is I don't have the Carplay update. This was the ONE feature I really wanted. I hope I get it soon - 6 months feels too long to wait.
