Nice Ride With Too Many Tech Options

I love to drive the GV70 but too many of the tech features are too difficult to be useful or accessible. My feeling is that carmakers are more interested in adding features to the sticker than they are in making the cars easy to drive.

nice car needs some improvement in the cockpit

The lack of auto locking when leaving the car is frustrating. The lights for the various controls are hard to see in daylight. Green lights would be more visible in daylight. Actual buttons for dash controls would be helpful, the digital buttons and the dim lights on them make it hard to determine if they have been activated. Buttons for radio presets would also be preferred, swiping thru menus is a pain. Auto stop needs to go!!

My 2nd GV70

I did got down to 2.5 turbo prestige sport. Couple items that I thought would be in this package but were not, example - backseat heaters. The seats are better than the 2022 I had.

Sadly disappointed

I have had my eye on this Genesis model for a few years and now I finally have one. Wow! What a sad disappointment. Minimal features, terrible sound system, very difficult to change stations and no heated steering wheel. My heart actually aches with disappointment. I cannot wait to get rid of it. Also, how do you let me leave the dealership with no fluid in any chamber? I am astounded! Pitiful! Stay away!

My 2nd GV70

Previously I owned a 2023 Genesis GV 70. Was not interested in trading it in until Genesis reached out with a wonderful cash offer to buy my 2023 so why not? This is a magnificent automobile. Not only do I love the Porsche Macan like styling, but it’s a very peppy with the four-cylinder and the interior rivals any other small luxury SUV on the market and is probably better appointed than most. The only thing I can ding Genesis for is the resale is poor compared to the competition in most cases. I expect that will improve as people come to recognize Genesis has a true luxury car alternative. But just in case, at least the 2026 at a very competitive lease price so at least for three years I couldn’t care less.

Very enjoyable car!

The car drives great especially with highway travel. It is smooth and handles very well. The tech is outstanding in the vehicle. The only area where I feel it is behind its peers is in the city traffic. It doesn't have the nimble turning and maneuvering that others have.

Love the look and feel

So far I'm loving the vehicle. I love the look and feel of the materials inside and outside of the car. Luxury all around. Drives well in the snow and happy with everything except the carplay is glitchy sometimes.

A great looking SUV that drives like a luxury car

There are a few things……. 1. There s/b a 2 person seat adjustment. My last 2 cars had that 2. There should be a heated steering wheel. My last 2 cars had that 3. The round dial where you can change the menu I do not like. It should be on the screen, not where you can hit it all of the time. 4, the entire middle that’s silver should be something that doesn’t look dirty all of the time unless you use a cleaner on it. It should be black and not something that constantly needs to be wiped. 5. Too many bells and whistles. It’s very daunting and a lot that’s unnecessary.
