Review 2026 Genesis GV70 (Ceres Blue)
The car is fantastic—exactly what I’ve come to expect from Genesis. This is my third Genesis (G80, G90, and now the GV70), and the brand continues to deliver. The GV70 is genuinely fun to drive, feels truly luxurious, and is very competitively priced for what you get.
The design still stands out in a crowd. I regularly catch other drivers looking over at the GV70, and it continues to feel unique on the road. The new screen is beautiful, intuitive, and easy to navigate, and the seats are exceptionally comfortable with excellent back support, even on long drives.
My only real frustration has nothing to do with the vehicle itself—it’s the dealership footprint. Genesis recently closed the Rocklin location near me, which now means driving to the Bay Area for service. If Genesis expanded its dealership network, I would recommend this brand without hesitation. As it stands, I tell friends to make sure they have a local Genesis dealership before buying.
I’ve also noticed that the side mirrors on my GV70 do not tilt downward when reversing, even when selecting the left or right mirror. I attempted to reach out to Adnan at Dublin Genesis for help but never heard back, so I’ll likely need to stop by in person to have it checked.
Overall, the GV70 is an outstanding vehicle—stylish, comfortable, and a joy to drive. The car itself earns high marks; improving dealership coverage and responsiveness would make the ownership experience nearly perfect.
