Style, Comfort & Performance

I'm on my 2nd G70. Love the styling both exterior and interior. I've received compliments on both vehicles, a 2020 and a 2025. I like the ride and the accelerating power when I need it.

Loving My G70

I love my car and am enjoying it so much! The only unfortunate experience I've had is the driver's seat had some kind of defect in the leather on the seat back. I found a round stain that looked like a burn mark on the side of the seat back, as well as a small similar mark on the backrest. My dealership had the seat back re-covered; they couldn't determine what caused the marks.

Overall a nice vehicle.

Warning camera is blocked, distraction warning and speed indicator not operational can occur. Driver's seat heat can come on w/o turning on.

Fun and Value

I love my new Genesis G70 3.3 Sport Prestige. The value is excellent and the quality is great. The car handles amazing and has great power when needed. One con would be the gas mileage but I knew going into buying a 6 cylinder with 365 hp mileage wouldn’t be wonderful. I would recommend this car to anyone that likes fun quick cars with a little class.

I like the car but expected more

The car magazine reviews sold us on the G70, but I'm not seeing what they saw. I'm happy with the car, but not as enthused as many professional reviewers. Driveablity is fine in Eco and Standard modes, and our car stays in those modes 99% of the time. Sport and Sport+ are way too jumpy, and this is coming from a "spirited" driver. Those modes just feel unsettled compared to a true sports car, plus the fuel efficiency really suffers. The car has all expected creature comforts, except the inexplicable absence of wireless CarPlay and hooks for shopping bags in the trunk. The back seat legroom is extremely limited if you plan to have teens or adults in the back for anything longer than a short trip.

We have only had the car for 6 weeks. Overall we are very happy. It's fun to drive, quiet and stylish.

The Crown Jewel

What do we not like about the G70 Prestige? Not really sure. I guess the seat settings could be easier to use. My wife says her settings are continuously changing and resetting to my settings. I can’t figure it out. Frustrating to say the least. Now what do we like? Absolutely everything!!! This is the best car we’ve ever owned. We love everything about it (except seat settings). It’s fun and comfortable to drive. When you need power it’s there immediately. The HUD is an amazing feature that we both enjoy. The leather seats with heat and cooling is great. So many amazing things about the car. Exterior looks are outstanding. We get a lot of comments on its looks. Two other recommendations are to add options to the Home Screen to select satellite radio, etc. would be much better. The other recommendation is to add options similar to a Tesla and have the cameras record when driving and when parked for security purposes. These two options would enhance attention towards people wanting to purchase a Genesis. We love our car and would buy it again.

A nice automobile but not for large people

Built for shorter and thinner average people , The compartment is on the tight side. that being said I own the 3.5T and the car is very responsive, comfortable behind the wheel with one exception, the seat belt receiver buckle are too low into the seat and this is also true of my GV-70 as well as My G-70. Both Cars have very nice pick up and are smooth riding cars with good road noise abatement. The G-70 didn't come with the remote parking feature like the GV-70 so that was a little disappointment. Gas mileage could be better especially when Premium gas is recommended . Over all I think the G-70 is a fine car and my wife loves it .

good car

G70 3.3T performance is very good. However, better gas mileage and larger backseat could be improved. Also, wireless CarPlay would also improve this car.
