Purchased this amazing car for my wife for our anniversary. She absolutely loves this car. What a luxury car! It has power and all the newest technology a car can offer. It is a very well priced and drives smooth. The interior is a black leather with red leather stitching along with red seat belts. We love our Genesis.

GREAT CHOICE

As in many things this car has it’s pros and cons. Nothing at the G70 price point has everything for me. However, it has many things I do want. It was a good choice in my case. Only real down side was the dealer. I have a 23 Sport Prestige which means it is relatively loaded. All the electronics work well and are fast and clear. A high point of the G70 is that the car is easy to use. All the knobs? Buttons and switches are easy to find and very intuitive. Radio is very good but imo could use a bit more subwoofer bang. Otherwise it s powerful and clean. Headlights are clear and bright but I’d love if they turned ahead of the car. Seats are low and very comfortable as expected in a sport sedan. Higher seats are available in the suv versions. The drive is tuned just right for a sport sedan as it eats up corners and rides quietly in a composed and fairly quiet manner. Turn in and road feel are excellent unless you want isolation from the driving experience. If you do I’d look elsewhere. Fit and finish are up at least on par and probably better than the completion especially at the G70 price point. Lots of queries from others as to how do I like my Genesis? Power from the 2.0 is more than adequate for everyday commuter driving. Just don’t have the same expectation of a 300 HP car. It’s great for 250 HP. I drive in ECO and average 25 MPG with just the right power. When I wish to have some fun I simply turn the drive knob to the sport or sport plus mode and away I go. Plenty of power sling with the expected significant decline in gas mileage. Lots of fun though and the G70 does carve up the corners in a flat and controlled manner. Brakes do the job very well but are not super car standard. Again, manage your expectations for the price point. If I only had one car I’d have purchased the 6 cylinder but only for the extra fun factor. The 2.0 is all I need for a great everyday cruiser. The rear seats are small but I knew that before I purchased the car. I made the choice so no complaint there. The trunk is just fine as I was not seeking a SUV. If you can find a good dealer I would not hesitate to buy a G70 but manage your expectations. It’s a great car for the money and a true value. I paid under 40K and definitely received a lot of car.

This car is awesome and I love everything about it. I’m still learning all the features it’s equipped it . At my age I needed all the driving assist features. My salesman Hadi was very professional in explaining all these features to me . I would definitely refer him to my friends and family.

Engine and fuel efficiency

The cons are that the engine idles a lot when the car is stopped and the fuel economy is not good. The rest is satisfactory. The dealer is friendly, but I hope the waiting space or place can be improved more comfortably. The vehicles I had are Toyota, so I can compare them with that one.

Outstanding customer service from Howard Chen he understands and know his product gave great details about the car. I was so impressed with his service to where I traded in my Lexus RX350 2022 for a genesis GV 70. The General Sales Manager and Finance manager they were both absolutely fantastic as well.

I love my G70. The car rides beautiful and it is very comfortable. This is my second G70 and like this one better than the first. I recommend the G70. All of the options are fantastic and really helpful when driving I feel very safe and informed while driving.

Ups and downs

Nice car. Good engine. More sporty than i original thought. Therefore certain things you would normally expect from a luxury vehicle is not there… no heads up display, not such a smooth drive, not an easy to use display while driving and kind of cramped quarters. Otherwise terrific car!

Very Satisfied Customer

Excellent handling, decent performance for 2.0L engine, and beautifully designed interior and exterior. The Genesis G70 feels like a very well-built car. Relatively small gas tank and would like better overall gas mileage considering the size of the G70.

Things that can be improved

The vehicle seats are a little low for me. I know it's a sports design, but can adjust high enough for a person 5'. The trunk can be closed from the inside. The features all are nice. the car is comfortable, get a lot of positive comments. I would purchase another.

Reliable … nice looking… sporty .. not sure on the Matt finish…. Hopefully no issues! Looks good … opted for extra warranty… wish there was a Genius dealership near me! This is my first Genius… have owned Hyundai and liked that too. Looking forward to this new car!

Well...

I am from mid-Florida, and all the family is excited with the Genesis. We don't have young kids, so we are not worry about the lack of legroom in the rear seat. So for us, everything is perfect. We really enjoy a lot of driving our Genesis G70 2023. I also Own 2 Hyundai Eleantra 2023, and I wish the Genesis have the Phone Projection of the Elantra. Hyundai has wireless phone projection, but not the Genesis. In the Genesis, you need to connect the phone with the charging cord to project the apps on the screen. Other than that, everything is beautifully perfect.

Sine the day I purchased my G70 I have been enjoying driving it. I get so many compliments on it. I love that there aren’t very many of my color on the road. That’s I’m the ice blue. It looks white when you first look at it but it has a hint of blue in it. So beautiful ?. and the interior is red. So sharp. I might be a girl but I’ve been waiting my whole life to get behind the wheel of a sports car and put the pedal to the metal and this is my baby to do it with. Not that I do it on a daily basis. I love just cruising with the sunroof open and feeling how smooth it drives even for a sports car. I would highly recommend this car.

Very nice car

It is a beautiful car. I'm disappointed that I'm having issues with the auto start and wireless charger. I get it, there's a lot of electronics and technology in the car but I spent a lot of money and don't expect to have problems. Again, it is a beautiful car and Im happy with it, I just want the issues corrected..

Can’t be beat at this price range.

Puts Audi and BMW to rest at this price. It’s faster and handles just as well as both German engineered cars. Has all the safety features you could ask for. Trunk opening is a little on the small side and interior seating could be more comfortable. All said great car for the money. One more thing get the 6 cyl. Turbo engine worth every penny.

G70 Review

Great vehicle, I like everything about it. The car drives great and handles itself having well on the road. The sound system produces nice quality audio. The touchscreen is very easy to use. The interior of the vehicle is very nice, the Napa leather seats are very comfortable. I just wish there was fog lights and interior ambient lighting on this vehicle.

Very nice.

Beautiful car that handles very well with more than enough power. It’s nice having a car that’s rare. The car rides very smoothly and is very quiet. The sound system is very nice and with the quiet ride sounds really good. Exterior design is what drew me to the car. It has excellent lines and Genesis has some really good colors.

A fun midsize sedan that is way too good for the value!

Handling & performance is awesome. Tech is pretty good. Very good looking vehicle. I liked the fact that everything LED. Even Though the car is AWD but it's rear biased which makes it even fun to drive in Sports and Sports+ mods. Sound system produces true to life sound stage very pleasant to listen. There could have been few ambient lights. But that's ok for the value.

Some easy improvements needed.

There is no digital speedometer, and the analog is difficult to read. The driver's side leg room is tight for this size sedan due to the large center console. Great styling and performance with the larger engine. Spacious trunk for long weekends away. Overall, a fun car to drive.
