Car handles beautifully and is quite powerful

I would NOT buy another or recomend a G70 Genesis for the only reason it does NOT automatically come with Apple Play while all the others models have it!!!

Great daily driver

Amazing vehicle, my only issue is that there’s an issue with the parking sensors on the 23’ model. I’ve had to take it to the dealership multiple times to have fixed due to a defect in the design. No permanent fix has been put in place as of right now. With that being said, The car is amazing, it looks great, drives great. High quality interior.

2023 Genesis G70 3.3t Sport Prestige AWD

This car is the best I've ever owned and a great value proposition in its price point. First and foremost, it is a driver's car with great dynamics and feeling, which is my chief consideration when shopping for a vehicle. The TTV6 engine and 8-speed transmission are a great pair and feel very intuitive, especially when driving in manual mode. Steering and handling are very responsive. The variable exhaust with the valves open sounds impressive for being stock. It is almost as great to drive as the BMW M340i, which I would consider this car's greatest competitor. Being a Florida resident, I very much appreciate the ventilated seats, which the M340i does not even offer as an option. I also appreciate smaller conveniences like the powered trunk, remote start from the key fob, and the fact that the steering wheel and driver's seat will automatically move out of your way when exiting the vehicle. My G70 often gets confused for a Bentley or Aston Martin thanks to its exterior styling. The black leather seats paired with the red cross-stitching and red seat belts is one of the best-looking interiors I've seen in any car; I hope this remains an option with future models. There are few cons I can think of. One would be the half-analog display in the gauge cluster, which looks a little dated. The other would be my experience with the front driver's side parking sensor. I have had to replace it a few times due to it going off constantly, but thankfully it is covered under warranty and Braman Genesis in Miami has been great to deal with. I hope Genesis continues to produce the G70, as I've heard rumors that it may be discontinued in the future. I also hope they will continue to offer an option for a V6 ICE (or at least hybrid) powertrain, as I've also heard rumors it may be replaced with an EV, and that just would not feel the same.

Second Even Lower Rating

After reading many reviews and seeing the auto response when responses fall below a certain level, the lights went on. The response is the same - condescending. We're sorry you're experiencing problems. Please call this number for more help. In other words, you're being flown off. And that's another example of poor service that would sway me away from buying another Genesis. By the way, I've called that number and received a rather rude and dismissive response to my constant Service Department problems. I gave up a long relationship with Infiniti for Genesis - it depends on what you're comparing the Genesis experience with, in my case, no comparison on quality, responsiveness, and service. Genesis falls way short.

Almost but Not Quite

The Genesis G70 is a sleek, well-equipped vehicle, but it falls short in terms of systems that are less intuitive than those of its intended competitors. The door locks are frustrating, to say the least. Even when standing right at the door with the fob on your person, it does not cause the door to unlock for up to a minute. When standing in a parking lot, especially at night, it is unsafe when the door lock is delayed. You must have your fob in hand using the manual unlock feature. The body is very attractive, but again falls short when you examine it closely, as the body parts are tightly fitted. The engine falls into the same category. When the automatic gear shifts occur, they often do not do so smoothly, but rather exhibit a "clunk" before completing the change from one gear to another, especially when you take your foot off the gas to decelerate. Service has been unable to correct it. The technology package requires updating. There is no port for USB-C power cords. It does feature Apple CarPlay. The finishing details are very attractive, and the driver's seat is comfortable overall, but the seat pad itself is too firm for long-distance travel. Lastly, do you know if the service at the Dublin CA dealership reflects poorly on general management? Communication = 1 Work Qualitz Diagnosis = 5 Honestly = 4 Keeping Sales Promises for Service Features = 2. This latter category is the biggest reason not to buy another Genesis - way too stressful every time~
