Overall nice, but a few changes would be great

For the most part it is a nice car. I have a couple of issues with the car overall. It does not have the ability to strap anything in the truck from sliding back and forth, only to strap it to the floor and squish anything you have purchased that you are trying to immobilize. More anchor points to attach the netting would be ideal. The frunk space is non-existant. The car keeps shifitng from Farenheit to Celsius even though my preferences are set. When I get to 70 mph after the car sits for awhile, the car shimmies. Also, a little more rear leg room would be great.

Great car! My first EV and first Genesis made a believer out of me.

The Genesis electrified GV70 is an exceptional vehicle. It looks great. The materials, fit and finish are spectacular in its price-range. It is mechanically solid and everything functions smoothly. It is quiet and seems to glide over all kinds of road. When asked to move quickly it is amazingly fast and the handling taught and responsive. The EV is quite efficient --significantly better than the EPA ratings--and charging is quick if you can find a high power charging station. It has been virtually maintenance and defect free. That said, there have been a couple of recalls related to the EV systems; a part in the charging system failed and was replaced. We are not fans of the user interface and informatics systems. Coming from an Apple background we see too many menus, submenus, and complexity. A lot of modern cars are similar in this regard. A minor niggle is that the car has been programmed to automatically lock itself for too many different reasons and we often find ourselves h having to unlock a car we never locked. If I could change one thing about the car it would be to give the user the option of turning off all auto-locking features or better still, allow users to select which auto features they wish to engage. In summary, if the only thing I can find to complain about is the programming of the auto-lock system then you know how perfect this car is. We love it. We would buy another one.

A wonderful SUV 2 years later!

This is a wonderful car! The finest Electric SUV for the money and a much better buy than Porsche, Audi, or BMW. The ONLY drawback is a very limited driving range, in real life about 240 miles, so for long distant trips you have to be cognizant of where the nearest charging station is. The interior of the car is extremely plush and wonderful to drive in.

My first electric vehicle and my experience was seamless!

Owned several SUV gas powered (Audi Q5, RRS, Jaguar F Pace), had reviewed Genesis GV70 gas version and was very impressed then checked out lease offers, and the electric powered version seemed to fit all of my needs. Very happy with the look, quality and road experience of the Genesis electrified GV70. No issues with range, as I drive only around town 95% of the time, so charging at home ChargePoint L2 charger every 6-8 days. Patience and planning needed on the 1-2x per year 500+ mile road trips, but easy to charge at Electrify America stations. Super comfortable and powerful acceleration in a luxury electric SUV. Frequently stopped by passers by asking what make is that great looking vehicle!

Nice car but parts are hard to get

The vehicle is very nice but parts availability is a huge issue. The ICCU failed and had to wait 7 weeks for a replacement and other parts are not available as well.

Electrified good vehicle lower mileage

Electrified good vehicle with lower mileage than other EV cars. Limited colors and annoying front plate location. More storage in center console. More lighting in rear cargo area. Like EV charging included. Would like massaging front seats as well as handbag support. Like a large fron screen. Love heads up display

Luxurious, Sporty, fast - and unreliable

I owned my GV70 Electrified for nearly 2 years, and loved nearly everything about it. I thoroughly enjoyed driving this car - Until I started having power issues, severe enough to shut down all power to the vehicle while I was driving. This means - no way to unlock doors, no emergency / parking brake, no way to contact Genesis other than by phone. After a second power issue occurred (on recall, but the service was already completed!), the service manager said I probably had a lemon. So we parted ways, and I will review a purchase of this vehicle when the reliability is improved.

Fantastic

Most recent vehicles: ‘23 Escalade, ‘22 RR Sport, ‘21 MB350. I’ve wanted an EV forever as my longest DAILY commute is 112 miles. It’s beautiful styled and very comfortable. You’ll get addicted to the power quickly making it difficult to drive a gas vehicle. So grateful!!

Not worth buying

It looks great, is fast and ultra responsive however the electronics are unreliable. I have had it not start twice, had 4 recalls on the NEW CAR and the driving range is not as advertised. The charging plug does not lock making it available for anyone to use at my expense. Not worth it.

i purchased the car in mid august and love it. i had a tesla model 3 for 4 years but decided to go to the genesis electrified gv70. for the money you can't get a better car. it is very comfortable to drive and has all the latest technology. the buying experience was very pleasant and everything was explained to me but i did have to look at the may video because there was too much to process.
