Horrible experience with service department

The 12 volt battery on my 2025 Ioniq 5 died 3 days ago and needed a jump start. I called Schomp Hyundai service dept and was advised to take it in. I had a 10:00 appointment. Schomp knew why I was bringing it in, yet it wasn't until I got there that they said they would need it all day. No offer of a courtesy car. After hearing nothing from them, I called at 2:30 and was told it was "about to be looked at by a technician." I called 4 more times for an update between 4:00 and 5:00. The service agent did not return any of my calls. Instead, at 5:00 I received a text - the first all day - saying that my car "will come in for inspection tomorrow morning. Thank you and have a good night." Schomp had my car for 7 hours without doing anything on it. Then without talking to me to see if they could keep it overnight, they just kept it. I canceled 2 appointments for this afternoon. Not knowing when - or if - my car will be ready tomorrow, will Schomp expect me to cancel tomorrow's 5 appointments too? BTW: my car was running perfectly fine when I took it in! Since I couldn't talk to the service agent, I asked to speak to the Service Department manager. "Not available. We'll have him call you back." When he didn't, I called to speak to the Schomp GSM. Same treatment. Needless to say, I do not recommend Schomp Hyundai Service Department and will never take it there again. I suggest you stay away too.
